END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1. Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and [Deda Games] ("Developer", "we", "us") for the video game What Is The Ghost ("Game").
By installing, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.
2. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes via the Steam platform and content creation such as short & long-form videos as well as livestreams.
3. Online Features & Multiplayer
The Game includes online multiplayer features.
By using these features, you agree that:
- An internet connection is required
- Online services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time
- You are responsible for your conduct while interacting with other players
We are not responsible for:
- User-generated behavior or interactions
- Temporary or permanent service interruptions
4. Global Leaderboard & User Identity
The Game includes a global leaderboard system.
By using the Game, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your Steam display name and in-game score/points may be visible to other players worldwide
- This information may be publicly displayed within the Game
- Rankings may update automatically and in real time
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized software
- Harass, abuse, or harm other players
- Use offensive, illegal, or inappropriate usernames
- Interfere with servers or disrupt gameplay
We reserve the right to:
- Reset leaderboard scores
- Restrict or terminate access to online features
- Ban users for violations
6. Data Collection & Privacy
The Game may collect limited data necessary to operate, including:
- Steam username
- Gameplay statistics (e.g., playtime, scores, rankings)
- Basic technical data on bug report (e.g., performance, crash logs)
This data is used solely to:
- Provide multiplayer functionality
- Maintain leaderboards
- Improve game performance
We do not sell personal data.
7. Ownership
The Game and all its content (including code, design, audio, and visuals) are owned by the Developer and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
This Agreement does not grant ownership rights to you.
8. Updates & Changes
We may:
- Update or modify the Game at any time
- Add or remove features (including multiplayer or leaderboards)
Continued use of the Game after updates means you accept the changes.
9. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Game is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that:
- The Game will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Online features will always be available
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for:
Any damages arising from use or inability to use the Game
Loss of data, rankings, or progress
Online service disruptions
11. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated.
We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate this Agreement.
Upon termination, you must stop using the Game.
