This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the installation and use of the software product KaT:SbS (“Game”), made available through the Steam platform.

1. License Grant

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for personal, non-commercial use on compatible systems via Steam.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

Distribute, copy, rent, lease, or resell the Game.

Modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer any part of the Game.

Circumvent DRM or use the Game outside of the Steam environment.

3. Intellectual Property

All content within the Game—including art, music, characters, story, and code—is owned by the developer or is presented in compliance with its licensors, whose rights you are also to respect. No rights are transferred except those explicitly stated in this Agreement.

4. User Content & Modding

Mods may not be sold or distributed without written permission. We reserve the right to moderate or restrict UGC as needed.

5. Warranty Disclaimer

The Game is provided “as is.” No guarantees are made regarding performance, compatibility, or uninterrupted access. You assume all risks related to the use of the Game.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers be liable for any damages—including but not limited to data loss, hardware failure, or emotional distress—arising from the use or inability to use the Game.

7. Termination

Your license may be revoked immediately if you violate this Agreement. Steam may also revoke access based on its own Subscriber Agreement.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
