PROXIMITY CORE — END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Last Updated: April 29, 2026
This is the agreement between you and Two Fault LLC for using Proximity Core (the "Software"). By using the Software, you agree to these terms.
1. USING THE SOFTWARE
You can install and use Proximity Core for your own personal use. Record it, stream it, monetize your videos — no permission needed.
You can create, share, and use community scripts, bridges, and packages built for the Software.
You can't repackage and resell the Software itself, or build an unauthorized client that connects to our services.
2. NO WARRANTY
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise it will be bug-free, compatible with every game, or always available. Games change, platforms change, and things outside our control can break compatibility.
We may update or change features at any time, including to keep up with games, platforms, or anti-cheat systems.
3. ANTI-CHEAT AND GAME COMPATIBILITY
Proximity Core reads game memory to position voice audio in 3D space. This means anti-cheat systems may flag it. We try to disable functionality when active anti-cheat is detected, but we can't guarantee detection is perfect.
You use the Software at your own risk. We're not responsible for:
- Bans, suspensions, or restrictions from any game or platform
- A game or platform deciding your use of the Software violates their rules
- Anything that happens when you run community scripts or packages
It's your responsibility to know whether the games you play allow tools like this.
4. VOICE CHAT WITH OTHER USERS
Proximity Core lets you talk to other players in real time. This means:
- You may hear, or be heard by, people you don't know, including people whose behavior you find offensive.
- We don't record, monitor, or moderate voice chat. We can't hear what's said and can't intervene.
- The Software lets you mute or block other users. Use these tools to manage your experience.
- You're responsible for what you say and what personal information you share.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors.
We're not responsible for the conduct of other users or what happens during voice chat.
5. PRIVACY
We collect the minimum amount of information needed to run the Software.
**What we may collect.** Steam account identifiers for authentication and matchmaking, basic system info, and session/connection data needed to make voice chat work. If you opt into crash reporting, we collect crash logs, OS version, and general hardware info to fix bugs. You can turn crash reporting off in settings.
**Voice transmission.** Voice audio is processed locally and sent to other users in your session through Steam's networking. We don't run servers that record or store voice chat.
**What we don't do.** We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising. We don't record voice chat. We don't read your text chat.
Data handled by Steam is governed by Valve's privacy policy.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, GAME BANS, OR DAMAGE TO HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE, EVEN IF WE WERE WARNED THESE WERE POSSIBLE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).
Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
7. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
We may update this agreement. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through the Software, Steam, or our website. Continuing to use the Software after changes take effect means you accept the new version. If you don't agree, stop using the Software.
8. LEGAL STUFF
This agreement is governed by California law. Disputes go to state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
If part of this agreement is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it.
