END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) FOR THE GAME «BURNED ONE»

Please read the following license agreement before using the game «Burned One».

WARNING: Installing and using the Game constitutes your full agreement to the following terms and conditions.

1.1. The indie studio HELIX741 (hereinafter referred to as «Licensor») grants you (hereinafter referred to as «User») a non-exclusive, personal license to use the video game Burned One (hereinafter referred to as the «Game») for personal, non-commercial purposes under the terms of this agreement.
1.2. All rights not explicitly granted herein are retained by the Licensor.

2.1. The User has the right to install and run the Game on their devices for personal use.
2.2. The User may create fan content (videos, artwork, mods) based on the game, provided that such content is made for non-commercial purposes, does not contain elements infringing on the rights of the Licensor, and is not distributed for profit, except on video hosting platforms that monetize their content.

3.1. Decompiled, reverse-engineered, modified, distributed, sold, rented, used to create derivative products, or otherwise used the Game without the Licensor’s permission is strictly prohibited.
3.2. Violations of these terms will result in automatic license termination and may lead to liability in accordance with the applicable laws of the Licensor's country.

4.1. The Licensor encourages localization of the Game into other languages.
4.2. Any localization must be carried out only through direct contact with the Licensor via the following channels:

4.3. Before releasing a localized version, the Licensor confirms its legality and compatibility with the original version.
4.4. Similarly, all future versions for Android that are not officially supported in the future will also require approval from the Licensor to avoid copyright infringement.

5.1. The Game is provided «as is». The Licensor does not guarantee its functionality, error-free operation, or absence of damages during use.
5.2. All risks related to the use of the Game are borne by the User.

6.1. In case of illegal use of content (including, but not limited to, images, music, scripts, and/or components not officially approved), the User shall bear responsibility for copyright infringement.
6.2. Unauthorized use of content or violation of this agreement may result in civil, administrative, and/or criminal liability in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.

7.1. All copyrights and exclusive rights in the Game's materials belong to HELIX741 indie studio.
7.2. Users are encouraged to create fan content (videos, artworks, mods) provided it is non-commercial and respects the rights of the authors and has the approval of the Licensor.
7.3. Creating mods or other user-generated content is permitted only if such content is not sold, commercialized, or causes confusion regarding its origin.
7.4. Violation of copyright or unauthorized use of materials will entail liability under Russian law.
7.5. For video platforms: It is allowed to publish videos related to the Game (reviews, walkthroughs, let's plays, compilations, etc.) on video hosting and streaming services (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, etc.) using platform monetization tools.
7.6. Fan content must not be presented as an official product of HELIX741. If possible, users are encouraged to include a link to the official page and/or any other official resource of the Game.

8.1. This agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
8.2. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the current legislation of Russia in courts located within its territory.

9.1. The Licensor reserves the right to make changes and additions to this agreement without prior notice to users.
9.2. Continued use of the Game after such changes indicates the User’s acceptance of the updated terms.
9.3. If you discover content protected by your copyright, please contact the Licensor, and the studio will take all necessary actions to remove or dispute it. We value feedback and are always willing to cooperate with creators. Contact details:

10.1. Age restriction: The Game is intended solely for persons aged 18 and over.
10.2. Content specifics: The visual novel contains materials that may be perceived as offensive or shocking, including offensive language, dark humor, cynical philosophical concepts, scenes of violence, erotic content, and depictions of violence.
10.3. Artistic fiction: All characters, events, and organizations depicted in the Game are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons (living or dead), places, or events is purely coincidental. The story takes place in an fictional parallel universe.
10.4. All materials used in the Game are sourced from open sources and used within permitted boundaries. The authors are not responsible for the content or impact of these materials.
10.5. Purpose of the work: The content is purely for entertainment and does not intend to offend the sensitivities of any groups or promote unlawful actions.
10.6. By accepting this agreement, the User confirms they are aware of the nature of the content and have no claims regarding its content.
