No legal jargon here, just a few things to know…

Where We Echo is an experience about sharing personal stories ("echoes") with others, anonymously. Every echo you encounter was written by a real person who visited this pool before you.

When you submit a personal story, it becomes part of everyone's experience. Visitors after you will catch and read what you share. By contributing anything in Where We Echo, you're doing that with the knowledge that it will be shared with others.

People are trusting you with vulnerability, and you're trusting others with your own. To keep this space thoughtful, please don't share:
  • Personal information that could identify you
  • Hate speech, harassment, attacks, or threats
  • Sexual content
  • Illegal content or spam

These things break the meaningful space we're creating together. They also ruin the experience for yourself. In serious cases, we might restrict access to sharing features.

We screen all content before it becomes visible to others, but if you still see something that violates these guidelines, please press the “report” button in the settings menu or email us: help [at] fernhead.co.

There’s no guarantee that every story will be available forever (but we hope they will be!), and the experience is provided as-is without promises of uptime or availability.

Privacy

We collect only the stories you choose to share and nothing else. No names, no emails, no IP addresses, no way to identify you.

If you want a story removed after sharing it, email us at help [at] fernhead.co and we'll take care of it for you.
