MMB — END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
Effective date: 12 September 2026
1. Parties
This End User Licence Agreement (the "Agreement") is a binding agreement between you and Maxim Pankratov, Kirill Sizov ("we", "us", "our"), the rightsholder and publisher of the video game MMB (Maid Moving Boxes), Steam App ID 3917620 (the "Game").
2. Acceptance
By installing, launching, or playing the Game, you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or play the Game. This Agreement applies in addition to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and the Steam Online Conduct rules; where this Agreement is silent, those terms continue to apply.
3. Definitions
3.1 "Assets" means any content forming part of the Game or distributed with it, including 3D models, meshes, skeletons and rigs, textures, materials, shaders, animations, sound effects, music, fonts, level data, and source or compiled code.
3.2 "Third-Party Content" means Assets created by persons other than us and included in the Game under licence, including the character models of Hatome, Mira, Cyana, Dely, and Ditoshey.
3.3 "Submission" means any content you upload, publish, or otherwise make available through the Game or through the Steam Workshop for the Game, including character models, textures, and configuration files.
4. Licence
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. The Game is licensed to you, not sold. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
5. Ownership
The Game and all Assets are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We or our licensors own all rights in them. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of any Asset to you.
6. Restrictions on extracting and redistributing Assets
6.1 You must not extract, rip, export, decrypt, convert, or otherwise obtain any Asset from the Game, whether from its installed files, from its memory while running, from its network traffic, or from the graphics pipeline, and whether manually or using any tool designed or adapted for that purpose.
6.2 You must not distribute, publish, upload, sell, licence, or otherwise make available any Asset obtained from the Game, in original or modified form, in any medium. This includes uploading Assets to the Steam Workshop, to asset stores or model repositories, to file-sharing services, or incorporating them into any other game, modification, virtual world, or other product.
6.3 You must not circumvent, disable, or interfere with any technical protection measure applied to the Game or its data files, including any encryption of those files.
6.4 You must not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits those acts despite this restriction, and only to that extent.
6.5 You must not rent, lease, sublicence, or commercially exploit the Game or any part of it.
6.6 This Section restricts obtaining Assets from the Game. It does not restrict your use of any Asset that we or its author separately make available to you outside the Game, for example as a standalone download. That use is governed by the terms accompanying that download, and those terms extend to that Asset only and to no other Asset in the Game.
7. Third-Party Content
7.1 The Game includes Third-Party Content used under licence. Ownership of that content remains with its authors. It is licensed for use within the Game only.
7.2 Extracting, redistributing, or reusing Third-Party Content outside the Game infringes the rights of its authors, whether or not the content is modified.
7.3 The authors of Third-Party Content are intended third-party beneficiaries of Sections 6, 7, and 8, and may enforce those Sections directly against you, independently of us and in their own name.
8. Submissions and the Steam Workshop
8.1 The Game allows you to load your own character models and, where the Steam Workshop is enabled for the Game, to publish them for other players.
8.2 By making a Submission, you represent and warrant that you created it yourself or otherwise hold all rights necessary to publish and licence it as set out in this Section, and that it does not infringe the rights of any other person.
8.3 You must not make a Submission that consists of, contains, or is derived from Assets extracted from the Game, from any other game, or from any film, animation, or other work, unless you hold the rights to do so and can evidence them on request. Publishing another person's model without their permission is a breach of this Agreement and may also infringe their copyright.
8.4 You retain ownership of your Submission. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, distribute, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Game and its Workshop integration, and you grant other players a licence to download and display it within the Game. This licence lasts as long as your Submission remains published.
8.5 We may remove, block, or refuse any Submission at our discretion, in particular where we have reason to believe it infringes the rights of another person. We may suspend Workshop access for repeated infringement.
8.6 You are responsible for your Submissions. You will indemnify us against any claim, demand, loss, or reasonable legal cost arising from a Submission that breaches Section 8.2 or 8.3, except to the extent the claim results from our own acts.
8.7 The Steam Subscriber Agreement and the Steam Workshop terms apply to Submissions in addition to this Section.
9. Videos, streams, and screenshots
You may record, stream, and publish video, screenshots, and other recordings of your gameplay, including on monetised channels, and we will not claim a share of that revenue. This permission covers ordinary gameplay recordings only. It does not permit distributing Assets or Game files contrary to Section 6, and it does not permit distributing the Game itself or any modified build of it.
10. Sharing models in multiplayer
The Game may transmit a character model you have selected to other players in your session so that they can see your character. By selecting a model, you instruct us to make that transmission and confirm that you hold the rights necessary for it. Models transmitted this way are used within the Game only, for the duration described in the Game's interface.
11. Reporting infringement
If you believe content in the Game or in a Submission infringes your rights, contact us at halfwaypixel@gmail.com with: a description of the work concerned, evidence of your rights in it, a link to or description of the infringing content, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised. We will review the report and act on it, which may include removing the content. Reports about Workshop items may also be made to Valve through Steam's own reporting tools.
12. Suspension and termination
This licence terminates automatically if you breach this Agreement. On termination you must stop using the Game and delete any Assets you have obtained from it. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8.6, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 17 survive termination. Termination of this licence does not by itself entitle you to a refund; refunds are handled under Steam's refund policy.
13. Changes to the Game and to this Agreement
We may update the Game, and features may be added, changed, or removed. We may also amend this Agreement, in which case we will publish the amended version with a new effective date. Continuing to play the Game after an amendment takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept it, stop playing and uninstall the Game.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Game and this Agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the Game. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud, and nothing in it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
16. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against any claim, demand, loss, or reasonable legal cost arising from your breach of Sections 6, 8.2, or 8.3, except to the extent the claim results from our own acts.
17. General
17.1 Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Russian Federation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law of your country of residence — including consumer protection law — applies instead.
17.2 Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force, and the invalid provision applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.
17.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
17.4 Assignment. You may not assign this Agreement. We may assign it in connection with a transfer of rights in the Game, provided your rights under it are not reduced.
17.5 Entire agreement. This Agreement, together with the Steam Subscriber Agreement, is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Game.
17.6 Language. This Agreement is published in English and Russian. Where the two versions conflict, the English version prevails, except where mandatory law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
