End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Linus Walter, the solo developer of the game Defend the Castle (“Game”).

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not install or use the Game.

1. Grant of License
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play Defend the Castle for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Restrictions
You may not:

Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game.

Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer the Game to any third party.

Use the Game for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Extract or use any part of the Game’s assets (art, sound, code, etc.) outside the context of the Game.

3. Ownership
The Game is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including all associated intellectual property rights, are and remain the property of Linus Walter.

4. User-Generated Content (if applicable)
If the Game includes functionality allowing you to create or upload content, you agree not to share any content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others. Linus Walter reserves the right to remove or disable any such content.

5. No Warranty
The Game is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Linus Walter does not warrant that the Game will operate uninterrupted or error-free but will make efforts to patch the game if there is issues with gameplay.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linus Walter shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Game, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling and deleting the Game.

8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, APPI & Data Protection Act
This game does not 'in itself' collect or handle data about it's users.
