END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (hereinafter, the “Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between Carkemy Studios (hereinafter, the “Licensor”) and you, the end user (hereinafter, the “User”), regarding the video game The Last Promise: The Demons of the Soul, including the associated software, printed materials, online or electronic documentation, and any related online services (hereinafter, the “Game”).
BY INSTALLING, COPYING, OR USING THE GAME THROUGH THE STEAM PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE GAME.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE
The Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, personal, and non-transferable license to install and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial use on a compatible device, subject to the terms of this Agreement and the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
2. USE RESTRICTIONS
The User agrees not to perform, nor allow third parties to perform, any of the following actions:
Commercial Exploitation: Rent, lease, sell, or distribute the Game for profit.
Reverse Engineering: Decompile, disassemble, derive the source code, or modify the Game, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
Cheats and Hacks: Create, use, distribute, or promote third-party software (hacks, bots, unauthorized mods) that provides an unfair advantage or alters the intended gameplay experience.
Data Mining: Extract information or data from the Game’s files through automated methods.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Game is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to source code, characters, names, dialogue, music, sound effects, artwork, and animations, are the exclusive property of Carkemy Studios or its licensors. The Game is protected by copyright laws and international treaties.
4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)
If the Game allows the User to create, upload, or share content (e.g., levels, skins, screenshots), the User grants the Licensor a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and distribute such content for any purpose related to the Game or its promotion.
5. PRIVACY AND DATA COLLECTION
The Licensor may collect anonymous technical data (hardware performance, error logs, telemetry) to improve the Game. No personally identifiable information will be collected without your explicit consent, in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at:

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE GAME.
7. TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated by you or the Licensor. Your rights under this license will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Game and destroy all copies of it.
8. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Mexico City (CDMX). Any dispute related to this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mexico City (CDMX).
