Revised EULA for Retroid: Cartridge Protocol

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity) and ZERO ONE SOFT Inc. (“Licensor”) regarding your use of the video game titled Retroid: Cartridge Protocol (“Game”).
BY INSTALLING, COPYING, OR OTHERWISE USING THIS GAME, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE
Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use one (1) copy of the Game on a personal device, for personal and non-commercial purposes only.
You may not install or use the Game on a shared server or in a commercial environment without prior written consent.
2. OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Game is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including but not limited to artwork, music, characters, narrative, gameplay mechanics, and source code, are and shall remain the sole property of ZERO ONE SOFT Inc.
3. RESTRICTIONS
You may NOT:
Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game;
Use the Game for any commercial purpose without express permission;
Share, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the Game;
Use any unauthorized third-party programs (e.g., bots, cheats, hacks) to alter gameplay or gain unfair advantage;
Use the Game or its content to create hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or sexually explicit materials;
Use any part of the Game in connection with generative AI models or machine learning systems without written permission.
4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (IF APPLICABLE)
If the Game includes features for user-generated content (UGC), you are solely responsible for the content you create or upload.
You may create fan content, including artwork, modifications, and derivative works, under the following conditions:
It must not promote hate, harassment, defamation, or explicit/sexual content.
It must not misrepresent, impersonate, or damage the reputation of ZERO ONE SOFT Inc.
It must be non-commercial unless explicit permission is granted.
Licensor reserves the right to request the removal of any content that violates these terms.
5. STREAMING & CONTENT CREATION
You are permitted to stream, capture, and share gameplay footage, including monetized content (e.g., YouTube, Twitch), as long as:
It does not falsely represent the Game or the developer;
It does not use offensive, misleading, or hateful commentary;
It complies with this Agreement and the platform’s terms of service.
6. UPDATES AND PATCHES
ZERO ONE SOFT Inc. may release updates, bug fixes, or patches at its sole discretion. Such updates may alter or remove certain features of the Game. Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the changes.
7. TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you breach any term herein.
Upon termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Game in your possession.
8. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
ZERO ONE SOFT INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT SHALL ZERO ONE SOFT INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE GAME, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Korea.
