LIVE TRANSLATE — INFORMATION, REQUIREMENTS & THIRD-PARTY LICENSES
By installing and using Live Translate, you acknowledge the following information and agree to the third-party open-source licenses listed below.
1) 100 % OFFLINE OPERATION
The application runs entirely on your computer. No internet connection is required after installation. All AI models, speech recognition, and translation engines are bundled and execute locally on your own hardware. No prompts, audio, text, images, translations, or usage data are sent to any cloud service.
2) PRIVACY
There is no cloud processing, no telemetry, no analytics, and no data collection of any kind. What happens on your PC stays on your PC.
3) HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Live Translate uses your GPU (graphics card) to run AI models locally. A minimum of 4 GB GPU memory (VRAM) is required. Some features require larger amounts of VRAM:
4+ GB - Live translation, screenshot translation
8+ GB - LT Anime-XL (free DLC, anime generator)
8+ GB - Batch translation (manga / comics)
12+ GB - LT Anime-XL with full batch mode
18+ GB - Largest AI models (best quality)
Identical performance across all systems cannot be guaranteed.
