GRIEFS Texture Ripper - END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity, "you" or "Licensee") and GRIEFS ("Licensor", "we", "us", "our") for the GRIEFS Texture Ripper software product, including any associated media and documentation (the "Software").
If you have acquired this Software via the Steam® platform, your use is also subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the Software.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and your active subscription or valid Steam license, GRIEFS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software as follows:
a. Free Plan (Web):
You are granted a license for personal, non-commercial, and educational use only. This license is limited to one (1) registered device.
b. Indie Plan (Web):
You are granted a commercial license for use by an individual or legal entity with no revenue restrictions. This license is limited to two (2) registered devices.
c. Steam License:
If you purchased or obtained the Software via the Steam store, you are granted a commercial license equivalent to the "Indie Plan" (Section 1.b). This license is tied to your Steam Account and is subject to Valve Corporation’s usage rules (e.g., Family Sharing restrictions).
2. RESTRICTIONS
You may NOT, and you agree not to permit others to:
a. Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
b. Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software.
c. Reproduce, copy, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software itself.
d. Remove or obscure any copyright or other proprietary notices from the Software.
e. Use the Software in any way that violates this EULA or any applicable law.
f. Bypass or manipulate the authentication mechanisms, including Steam API integration.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software and its intellectual property remain the exclusive property of GRIEFS.
4. DATA COLLECTION & PRIVACY
By installing and using the Software, you acknowledge and agree that the Software communicates with our servers for purposes of license validation, security monitoring, and product improvement.
This data may include, but is not limited to:
- Your license information (Email or Steam ID).
- Device identifiers (Hardware ID).
- App version and feature usage statistics.
- Crash reports.
Our collection and use of this information are governed by our **Privacy Policy**, which is hereby incorporated by reference into this EULA. 5. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
The Software may include third-party components subject to open-source licenses. Information regarding these components is provided within the Software's documentation or credits. Your use of these components is governed by their respective licenses.
6. NO WARRANTY
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & USER RESPONSIBILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GRIEFS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE AND ITS OUTPUTS AND FOR ENSURING SUCH USE COMPLIES WITH ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS.
8. TERMINATION
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and uninstall all copies.
If you are a Steam user, your license is also contingent upon your good standing with Valve Corporation; a ban or termination of your Steam Account may result in the inability to access the Software.
9. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Sweden to resolve any legal matter arising from this EULA.
10. STEAM SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT
If you purchased the Software through Steam, you acknowledge that your use of the Steam platform and the Software is subject to Valve Corporation’s Steam Subscriber Agreement ("SSA"). In the event of any conflict between the terms of this EULA and the SSA regarding your use of the Steam platform or the distribution of the Software via Steam, the terms of the SSA shall prevail.
11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This EULA, along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and GRIEFS concerning the Software.
