END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to your access to and use of Halima, including the game software, related files, updates, patches, content, artwork, characters, story, audio, music, text, user interface, and any related materials made available by Edge Interactive LLC, doing business as Edge of the World Studios (“EOTW Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By installing, accessing, or using Halima, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install, access, or use the game.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and the applicable Steam terms, EOTW Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and play one copy of Halima for your personal, non-commercial entertainment use.
This Agreement does not transfer ownership of Halima or any related intellectual property to you.
2. Ownership
Halima and all related intellectual property rights are owned by EOTW Studios and/or its licensors. This includes, without limitation, the game’s title, characters, story, visual style, artwork, animation, code, music, sound, environments, designs, logos, trademarks, and related creative materials.
All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement are reserved by EOTW Studios and its licensors.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
a. copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit Halima or any part of it;
b. modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to access the source code of the game, except where expressly permitted by applicable law;
c. remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
d. use Halima for any commercial exhibition, public installation, institutional display, or paid public performance without a separate written agreement from EOTW Studios;
e. use cheats, hacks, unauthorized software, or tools intended to alter or interfere with the game;
f. use the game or its assets in a way that infringes the rights of EOTW Studios, its licensors, or any third party.
4. Fan Content, Streaming, and Sharing
We allow players, creators, press, and community members to share screenshots, videos, livestreams, reviews, commentary, fan art, and similar non-commercial or creator-platform content based on Halima, provided that:
a. the content is not misleading, offensive, unlawful, or harmful to the game, EOTW Studios, or third parties;
b. you do not sell or redistribute the game itself or its raw assets;
c. you do not imply official endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership with EOTW Studios unless we have agreed to it in writing;
d. you follow the rules of the platform where you publish the content.
Monetization through standard creator platforms, such as YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, or similar services, is permitted for gameplay videos, livestreams, commentary, and reviews.
5. Feedback
If you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or comments about Halima, you agree that we may use them to improve the game or our work without owing you compensation, credit, or any obligation, unless we separately agree otherwise in writing.
6. Updates and Changes
We may provide updates, patches, fixes, or changes to Halima. These may modify gameplay, features, performance, compatibility, or system requirements. We are not required to provide any specific update or continued support unless required by applicable law.
7. Privacy
Halima may use Steam platform features and may collect limited technical or gameplay-related information if analytics, crash reporting, or similar tools are implemented. Any personal data collection will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, where applicable, and any relevant platform requirements.
If Halima does not collect personal data directly, your use of Steam remains subject to Steam’s own privacy and account terms.
8. Refunds and Consumer Rights
Purchases, refunds, and account-related matters through Steam are handled under Steam’s applicable terms and refund policies. Nothing in this Agreement limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Halima is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every system, or free from bugs or technical issues.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EOTW Studios and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Halima.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to Halima will not exceed the amount you paid for the game, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Termination
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will automatically terminate if you breach its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using Halima and delete any unauthorized copies in your possession.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless the mandatory laws of your country of residence require otherwise. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, unless applicable consumer protection laws require another forum.
