End User License Agreement
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
Welcome to Duggoman! We're absolutely thrilled that you've decided to play our games. Whether you're diving into Rogue's Odyssey or exploring our other small-scale PC adventures, we want to make sure you have the best time possible.
Before you jump in, we need to go over a few ground rules. We know legal documents aren't exactly fun reading, so we've done our best to keep this End User License Agreement (EULA) as simple, friendly, and straightforward as possible. Think of this as a mutual understanding between you (the player) and us (the developers at Duggoman) so we can keep making great games for you to enjoy.
At a Glance: Summary of Key Points
Here is the quick version of what you're agreeing to when you play our games:
You're getting a pass to play: When you buy or download our game, you're getting a personal license to play it, but we still own the game itself.
Play fair: Please don't hack, copy, sell, or distribute our games. We're a small team, and piracy really hurts us!
Expect a few bugs: We work hard to make our games great, but software is never perfect. We provide our games "as is."
Your privacy is safe: We only collect the basic data needed to run the game and process your purchases, and we strictly follow global privacy laws to protect your information.
You can leave anytime: You can end this agreement simply by uninstalling the game.
1. LICENSE GRANT
What You're Actually Getting
When you download or purchase a game from Duggoman, we aren't actually selling you the code and the pixels. Instead, we're giving you a personal, non-exclusive, and non-commercial license to play the game.
Here is exactly what that means for you:
Scope of use: You can play the game for your own personal entertainment. You can stream it, make videos about it, and share your experiences with friends!
Installations: You can install the game on your personal PC (or multiple PCs, as long as you're the one using them).
Where you can play: Our games are global! There are no territory restrictions, so you can enjoy our games whether you're at home or traveling abroad.
2. RESTRICTIONS
The Ground Rules
We want you to have fun, but we also need to protect the hard work we put into our games. To keep things fair for everyone, we ask that you respect a few boundaries.
Please don't do any of the following:
No reverse engineering: Don't decompile, take apart, or try to extract the source code of our games.
No redistribution: Don't share the game files with others, upload them to torrent sites, or distribute them for free. If your friends want to play, please point them to our official store pages!
No sublicensing: You can't rent, lease, or sell your copy of the game to someone else.
No malicious modifications: While we love seeing community creativity, please don't create mods that break the game, bypass our security, or ruin the experience for other players.
3. OWNERSHIP
Who Owns What
Let's clarify who owns the different pieces of your gaming experience.
Our Stuff
Duggoman owns all the rights, title, and interest in our games. This includes the code, the artwork, the music, the characters, and the storylines. Playing the game doesn't transfer any of that ownership to you.
Your Feedback
We absolutely love hearing from you! If you send us feedback, bug reports, or brilliant ideas for new features, we might actually use them. By sending us suggestions, you agree that we can use those ideas to improve our games without owing you any royalties or compensation. It's just a great way to help us make the games you love even better.
4. UPDATES & SUPPORT
Keeping Things Running Smoothly
We're always looking for ways to improve our games, fix pesky bugs, and add fun new content.
Game Updates
From time to time, we'll release updates or patches. These might happen automatically depending on the platform you use to play our games. We highly recommend keeping your game updated so you get the best possible experience.
Getting Help
Because we're a small indie team, we don't have a massive 24/7 call center. However, if you run into a game-breaking issue, you can always reach out to us at duggoman@gmail.com. We'll do our absolute best to help you out as quickly as we can!
5. PRIVACY & DATA
Your Privacy Matters
To make sure our games run well and to handle things like secure payments, we have to collect a little bit of standard operational data. Don't worry—we aren't snooping on your personal life. We only work with essential, trusted third-party service providers (like secure hosting and payment processors) to keep things running.
Because we have players all over the world, we've built our data practices to comply with the strictest global privacy standards. Whether you're protected by the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, PIPEDA in Canada, or US State Privacy Laws (like the CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and CTDPA), we've got you covered.
If you want the full details on exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your data rights, please check out our Privacy Policy over at https://roguesodyssey.com.
6. TERMINATION
Saying Goodbye
We hope you play our games for years to come! But if you ever want to end this agreement, it's incredibly easy: just uninstall the game and delete the files from your PC.
On the flip side, if you seriously break the rules we outlined in Section 2 (like pirating the game or hacking), we reserve the right to automatically terminate your license. If that happens, you'll need to stop playing and delete the game. Even if this agreement ends, the sections about Ownership, Privacy, and Warranties will still apply.
7. WARRANTIES & DISCLAIMERS
The Honest Truth
We need to be completely transparent with you here. We pour our hearts into developing these games, but software is incredibly complex, and PCs come in millions of different configurations.
What we can't guarantee:
We provide our games strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis. That means we don't promise the game will be 100% free of bugs, crashes, or glitches. We also can't guarantee it will run perfectly on every single computer out there.
Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duggoman won't be held financially responsible if the game crashes, if you lose your save data, or if your computer acts up while playing. Our total liability to you will never exceed the amount you actually paid for the game. We're just a small team making games, and these limitations help us stay in business!
8. GOVERNING LAW
The Legal Framework
Because Duggoman operates globally and serves players all over the world, we respect the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live. However, to keep our legal footing consistent, this agreement is generally governed by standard international commercial laws. If a dispute ever arises (and we really hope it doesn't—we'd much rather just talk it out with you over email!), we'll look to those standard frameworks, always keeping your local, non-waivable consumer rights in mind.
Got questions?
If anything in this document doesn't make sense, or if you just want to say hi, drop us a line at duggoman@gmail.com. We're always happy to chat.
Thanks again for supporting Duggoman. Now go have fun playing!
