End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “You”) and Ayrton Alexis, a UK-based individual developer, governing your use of the game Ayrton Idle (“Software”), distributed through the Steam platform.
By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
1. License Grant
Ayrton Alexis grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
Use the Software for any commercial purpose without written permission;
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical protection measures;
Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
3. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software (including any content, updates, and modifications) remain with Ayrton Alexis.
4. Data Collection
Ayrton Idle may automatically collect your IP address during gameplay. This data is used exclusively to detect and prevent cheating or abuse.
The IP address is not linked to any personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or Steam ID.
The IP address may be stored for up to 5 years, but is typically cleared monthly.
If you do not wish for your IP address to be collected, you may block the game’s internet access via your firewall or network settings. However, certain features may not function properly without internet connectivity.
5. Data Removal Requests
If you wish to have your stored data (including IP address) removed, please contact:

Please include sufficient information to verify your request. Note that once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
6. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the Software. Ayrton Alexis may terminate it if you breach any of the terms. Upon termination, all rights granted to you will cease.
7. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Ayrton Alexis does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or that access will be continuous.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ayrton Alexis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
10. Changes to This Agreement
Ayrton Alexis reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Software following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
11. International Violations
If you access, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Software from outside the United Kingdom in a manner that breaches this Agreement (including through piracy or disassembly), you acknowledge that Ayrton Alexis retains the right to pursue legal action in your local jurisdiction, or any applicable jurisdiction, to the fullest extent permitted by international law.
This includes, but is not limited to, seeking damages, injunctive relief, or cooperation with law enforcement authorities in your region.
