This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Philipp Schladitz / AscriptureGames ("Licensor") regarding the video game "Barrow Born" (the "Game"). By installing, copying, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
1. LICENSE GRANT Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Licensor grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Game on your device solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment use.
2. RESTRICTIONS You agree not to: (a) Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Game code, except as permitted by mandatory applicable law; (b) Sell, rent, lease, or sub-license the Game to others; (c) Use the Game to infringe on the privacy or rights of others; (d) Use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the Game experience.
3. OWNERSHIP The Game is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Game, including all intellectual property rights.
4. UNREAL ENGINE DISCLAIMER The Game was developed using the Unreal® Engine. The following disclaimers are required by the Licensor of the Unreal Engine (Epic Games, Inc. and its affiliates): (a) The Game contains "Licensed Technology" provided by Epic Games, Inc. (b) Epic Games, Inc. is not a party to this Agreement and creates no warranties to the User. (c) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EPIC GAMES, INC. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, AND LIABILITIES RELATED TO THE LICENSED TECHNOLOGY.
5. HEALTH AND SAFETY WARNING (EPILEPSY) Some people may experience epileptic seizures or blackouts when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. Exposure to certain patterns or backgrounds on a computer screen, or while playing video games, may induce an epileptic seizure in these individuals. If you, or anyone in your family, have an epileptic condition, consult your physician prior to playing. If you experience dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitches, loss of awareness, disorientation, any involuntary movement, or convulsions while playing the game, IMMEDIATELY discontinue use and consult your physician.
6. TERMINATION This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the Game. The Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Game.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (a) The Licensor is liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. (b) In cases of slight negligence, the Licensor is only liable for the breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal duties). In such cases, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages. (c) Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded.
8. GOVERNING LAW This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

6. TERMINATION This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the Game. The Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Game.
