SIMULATOR RULES [ENG]

General resolutions.
By downloading the Simulator and joining multiplayer mode, you pledge to comply with the following Statute.
Applications:
Simulator Train Driver 2 (further referred to as: “Simulator”) - an app which is available to download.
Forum - a place in the internet network, where Users can share and exchange information.
SWDR4 – dedicated platform to support the User while using the Simulator in Dispatcher mode.
Definitions:
User - a person who has an account on the Forum (also used for logging in to the Simulator and other apps described in present Simulator Statute and Forum Statute).
Train Driver (PL: Maszynista) – User who drives a railway vehicle.
Dispatcher (PL: Dyżurny ruchu) – User who controls train traffic on the sceneries that they are running.
Management (PL: Zarząd) - people who represent the TTSK Association and manage the whole project.
Administrators (PL: Administratorzy) - people who manage servers and apps.
Leaders (PL: Naczelnicy) - people chosen by Management, responsible for individual departments in TD2 project.
Global Moderators / Junior Moderators (PL: Global Moderator / Junior Moderator) - people who ensure that Users comply with the statues.
Developers / Junior Developers (PL: Developer / Junior Developer) - people engaged in project development from the technical side. They normally work on programming and making new models.
Constructors (PL: Konstruktorzy) - people responsible for project development from the factual side. They normally work on creating new sceneries and take care of their compatibility with rules and statutes.
Trainers / Interns (PL: Trenerzy / Stażyści) - people who provide Users with support and offer help for them.
Redactors (PL: Redaktorzy) - people who are responsible for the maintenance and development of documentation. They also are responsible for creating contents in social media channels and on information sites of the project.
Sponsor - User who voluntarily supported the TD2 project with a financial donation.
Community Manager - a person responsible for communication channels and Simulator promotion in electronic media.
Pioneer (PL: Pionier) - User who registered an account before the 1st of January, 2016.
Veteran (formerly “Supporter”; PL: Weteran) - a person, who voluntarily supported the project before the 5th of March, 2022.
Honoured (PL: Zasłużony) - User who used to work actively in TD2 team.
User (PL: Użytkownik) – a person who owns an account on the Forum (used also for logging to the Simulator and other apps described in Simulator Statute).
Train drivers and Dispatchers - laws and obligations.
Users must comply with railway rules included in the following instructions: Ir-1 (R1), Ir-5 (R12), Ie-1 (E1), Ir-9 (R34), Itw-3 (Mw56), Mt1.
Train Driver must execute any Dispatcher orders promptly unless they are against the railway rules and present statute.
Activities performed by train drivers or dispatchers on other Users' trains without their express consent (coupling/uncoupling carriages, turning on hand brakes in carriages, etc.) are prohibited.
Train Driver must not change the position of switches without clear Dispatcher’s permission.
The Train Driver of a passenger train must not depart before the time set by timetable (applicable only to passenger stops [PL: postoje handlowe] marked in timetable with an abbreviation ‘ph’).
Dispatcher must not delay a train with another train of lower priority. Following classification of trains in terms of category and priority is applicable:
express trains (EC*, EN*, EI*),
fast trains (MM*, MP*, MH*, RP*),
passenger trains (MO*, RM*, RO*, RA*),
intermodal freight trains (TC*, TD*) operating at passenger train speeds,
freight trains (TG*, TR*, TM*, TN*, TK*, TS*, TH*),
service, maintenance, repair trains, locomotives operating alone (PW*, PX*, ZN*, ZU*, LP*, LT*, LS*, LZ*).

In the case of a delayed train and a second scheduled train from the same classification level, the scheduled train has priority.
In the case of two delayed trains from the same right-of-way classification level, the train with the shorter delay has priority.
In the case of a delayed train and another train traveling ahead of time, the delayed train has priority.
A delayed train is considered to be a train running with a delay of more than 5 minutes - in the case of passenger trains, and more than 15 minutes - in the case of freight trains.
Dispatcher must regulate the delayed trains’ order, so as to decrease the delays by utilizing the line’s bandwidth and shortening the stops on stations, using time reserves included in the timetable.
Dispatcher must generate a new timetable on Train Driver’s request, however Dispatcher is allowed to refuse in the following situations:
the amount of available stations is not high enough to generate a new timetable,
the station does not handle given train type,
the train consist does not comply with requirements set by point 2.9,
when the Dispatcher finishes his shift (unless spawns on his sceneries are opened).
The Train Driver must not drive a train:
which is longer than 350 metres for passenger trains (excluding local goods and empty stock trains),
which is longer than 650 metres for other train categories,
which weight exceeds the maximum weight for a given locomotive which is described in this table,
which consist wasn’t expected for use in Simulator, but can cause problems during driving and pose risk for other Users - in case when Dispatcher lets such train depart, he is also responsible for causing damage.
Purposeful actions of Train Driver or Dispatcher leading to a disaster are forbidden.
Dispatchers and Train Drivers joining a station must comply with spawn and station rules described in the Table of length and direction of spawns.
Train Driver who has a valid timetable and drives through the included scenery in offline mode, must contact a Dispatcher of the next scenery in his timetable (which is not offline) and to ask for permission to proceed using a /swdr <content> command or by TS3 communicator.
Dispatcher is allowed to kick a Train Driver from the scenery if they fail to comply with the rules included in point 2 and 3.1; 3.3; 3.5.
Dispatcher must not leave the scenery when they still have trains to handle (which are shown in SWDR4 system). In extreme cases, Dispatcher is allowed to leave, upon receiving permission to do so from Administrator or Global Moderator, or if none of them is online, only after taking additional measures, such as informing following and previous stations for all of the trains included in SWDR4 or organizing a Dispatcher substitution on the scenery that they're running. If the Dispatcher happens to have connection issues too often, it won't be considered as an attenuating factor, and user will be penalized for explicit rule breaking. Dispatcher must make sure that they have stable internet connection before joining online simulation. Tampering system messages are forbidden.
Train Driver must not leave a game with an active timetable. Tampering system messages are forbidden. It is allowed to leave the game with an active timetable only when:
Train Driver got to the terminus - stopping at the platform of the final station or in the area of a station is considered as reaching terminus.
Train Driver requested timetable removal from Dispatcher on chat or using a TS3 communicator and received confirmation of timetable’s deletion. Leaving the game with an active timetable is allowed with the following reasons: "You have derailed", "You have broken the pantographs" or "You have damaged the engines". Unauthorized removal of an active timetable by the Dispatcher is forbidden, with the exception when the Driver, whose train derails or experiences a malfunction during the execution of an active schedule, leaves the game (with messages "You have derailed" "You have broken the pantographs," "You have damaged the engines.") and does not indicate a desire to continue driving with that timetable after relogging.
If the Train Driver happens to have either connection issues or requests timetable removal too often, it won't be considered as an attenuating factor, and user will be penalized for explicit rule breaking. Train Drivers must make sure that they have stable internet connection before joining online simulation and enough time to complete the timetable.
Dispatcher must immediately remove the Train Driver’s timetable on request described in point 2.15.2 and confirm completing this action on the chat or using the TS3 communicator.
Exploiting of bugs in Simulator or actions headed against the project are forbidden.
Radiotelephone and chat.
It is forbidden to spam radiotelephone in Simulator and the SWDR4 chat.
It is forbidden to modify default fonts (except for Administration and Global Moderators).
Radiotelephone in Simulator offers a selective call option (ZEW1 and ZEW3) and RADIOSTOP function.
RADIOSTOP signal is used to stop all trains on the scenery, in case of danger.
Selective calls can be used as a call to the Train Driver (ZEW1) or to the Dispatchers (ZEW3) in order to communicate precisely.
Use of functions described in point 3.3 without justified cause or spamming them is forbidden.
It is forbidden to publish (especially in view of other Users):
Racist, sexist content, insults in any forms (unfinished, dotted etc.) and other commonly considered as abusive,
curses an other contents found as offensive in any forms (unfinished, dotted etc.),
personal and address data,
advertisements and links to outside sites (reflinks inclusive).
Users must follow the Netiquette and exhibit good manners.
On server:
“PL1” the main communication language is Polish. It’s allowed to communicate directly or with support of translators in other languages. Purposeful actions leading to the lack of communication are forbidden.
“PL2” the main communication language is Polish.
“DE” the main communication language is German.
“CZ” the main communication language is Czech.
“ENG”, any language is allowed (this server is used for testing purposes).
Train drivers’ and Dispatchers’ identificators.
Train number must consist only of digits (except for letter R on the 1st position) in compliance with a given train type/category. User is free to choose any suitable number they want, but to keep the high level of simulation, we encourage you to get to know the rules of train numbering which are in force in the real world.
It is allowed to change a train number by the Train Driver only in the following situations:
on start station before receiving a timetable,
at the terminus after finishing the timetable,
on clear request from Dispatcher,
if timetable terms state differently.
The Train Driver must inform the Dispatcher about the number change.
The Dispatcher taking a shift on a given station, puts in a telegraphic abbreviation of the signal box on the scenery as their identificator.
Actions against abuses.
The User is allowed to file a complaint against another User if there is a justified suspicion that they purposefully broke the rules. The complaint can be made using the Complaint System in the Forum.
A complaint must include all necessary information listed in this thread.
In extreme cases which cause difficulties or harm gameplay, User can contact Management’s member or Global Moderator directly (using SWDR chat, TS3 communicator or dedicated channel on Mattermost platform) without filing a complaint on the Forum. Management and Global Moderators are allowed to take on the immediate actions which can avoid undesirable/harmful actions.
According to the Tariff, Staff members have the right to warn or ban the user if they broke the resolutions of Simulator Statute.
Incidents older than 7 days are considered outdated and can’t be a subject to complaint.
A person who creates complaints which are mean, trivial or lacking evidence, will be penalized with consequences described in point 5.4.
The accused User must respond to the complaint within 48 hours after its submission, otherwise they will be considered guilty of their actions.
The complaint has to be resolved within 7 days, otherwise it will be considered as outdated.
Complaints which haven’t been taken into consideration by the Management or the Global Moderator will be considered as outdated after 14 days.
A complaint concerning the situation in online mode can be made only by Users active on the given scenery (applicable to the Simulator) or the given session (applicable to SWDR4).
Only accused, prosecutor, chosen witnesses and Management members are allowed to post comments to a complaint. Other Users can post only if their statements can have a significant influence on the complaint’s outcome.
On the PL1 server a User can get automatic warnings for violating the railway safety rules - derailing.
Appeals from the punishments are possible by writing an email to odwolania@ttsk.ngo.
Users’ sceneries.
User is allowed to create sceneries in the editor mode and to start them as Dispatcher unless they break the resolutions of Simulator Statute.
Sceneries must be created in compliance with guidelines and railway instructions: Ie-1 and Ie-4. Real and fictional sceneries should map the realities, environment and nature of the country.
To keep the highest level of realism the Constructors’ Leader is allowed to delete a scenery which is named the same as one of Polish stations and does not map a given place or station.
It is forbidden to start and modify sceneries created by other Users in Dispatcher mode unless its author allowed them to do so.
Other issues which are not described here, are regulated by SSS Statute (Regulamin SSS).
Final resolutions.
Present Simulator Statute has been in force since: July 16, 2024.
Administration is allowed to change the Statute and inform about introduced changes on the forum 7 days before they are in force, and also after changes’ introduction - inform about them after logging to the forum.
Polish law is in force in case of any dispute, not regulated by the Statute.
Issues / Problems not described in this Statute will be considered individually.

The Statute was developed by Global Moderators of simulator Train Driver 2 and consulted with the Management of TTSK association. Copying, sharing and modifying Statute content without written permission of the Management of TTSK Association is strictly forbidden.
