END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Fourhase Studio, a game development studio based in Germany ("Fourhase Studio", "we", "us", or "our"), concerning your use of the video game titled "CLOCKLOOPED: Prison 12", including its software, associated media, content, updates, and related services (collectively, the "Game").
By installing, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Game.
1. Grant of License
Fourhase Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to this Agreement and the applicable terms of the distribution platform.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Game or any of its components to you.
Nothing in this Agreement restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable legislation.
2. Ownership and Intellectual Property
The Game and its associated content, including but not limited to software code, graphics, character designs, animations, audio, music, dialogue, artwork, and trademarks, are owned by Fourhase Studio or its respective licensors.
These materials are protected by applicable copyright, intellectual property, and other relevant laws.
All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved by Fourhase Studio and its licensors.
3. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
You may:
- Install and play the Game for personal entertainment.
- Create and share screenshots, gameplay videos, reviews, walkthroughs, streams, and Let's Play content.
- Monetize gameplay videos and livestreams through advertising, sponsorships, donations, or platform memberships, provided that such content does not involve distributing unauthorized copies of the Game.
- Share your experiences, commentary, and reviews of the Game on social media and gaming platforms.
- Create fan art and other non-commercial fan content, provided that you do not misrepresent such content as officially endorsed by Fourhase Studio.
You may not:
- Reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit unauthorized copies of the Game.
- Extract and commercially redistribute the Game's assets, including models, textures, audio files, music, or other protected content, without authorization.
- Modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or disassemble the Game except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Circumvent technical protection measures in violation of applicable law.
- Distribute malicious software or use the Game to conduct unlawful activities.
- Claim ownership of the Game or falsely represent yourself as its developer or publisher.
4. User-Generated Content (UGC)
If the Game or its associated community features allow users to create, submit, or share content, users retain ownership of their original creations.
By voluntarily submitting content through official community features operated by Fourhase Studio, you grant Fourhase Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and share that content for purposes directly related to the Game and its community, subject to applicable law.
You must not submit content that violates applicable laws or the intellectual property rights of others.
Content shared through third-party platforms, including Steam, may also be subject to those platforms' terms.
5. Online Services and Data Protection
The Game may use services provided by third-party platforms, including Steam, for distribution, updates, achievements, and related functionality.
Use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies established by the relevant providers.
Any processing of personal data by Fourhase Studio will be governed by applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
Information about any personal data collected or processed by Fourhase Studio will be provided through an applicable privacy notice where required by law.
6. Termination
This Agreement remains effective unless terminated.
Fourhase Studio may terminate the license if you materially violate the terms of this Agreement, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
Upon lawful termination of your license, you must cease using the Game and remove unauthorized copies from your devices.
You may terminate your use of the Game at any time by uninstalling it.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that must remain effective under applicable law.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Game is provided subject to all mandatory statutory rights and protections available under applicable law.
Fourhase Studio does not guarantee that the Game will operate without interruption or that it will be compatible with every hardware or software configuration.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fourhase Studio shall not be liable for damages arising from improper use of the Game or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
All mandatory statutory warranty rights and remedies remain unaffected.
8. Consumer Rights Notice (EU and Germany)
Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes mandatory consumer protection rights granted under German law, European Union law, or other applicable legislation.
Consumers purchasing digital content may have a statutory right of withdrawal, subject to the conditions and exceptions established by applicable law.
For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the statutory right of withdrawal may expire once performance begins, provided the legally required conditions have been satisfied, including prior express consent, acknowledgment of the loss of the withdrawal right, and any required confirmation.
Purchases, refunds, and related transactions processed through Steam are also subject to applicable Steam policies and mandatory consumer protection laws.
Nothing in this Agreement removes statutory remedies available to consumers for defective or non-conforming digital content.
9. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in the User's country of residence.
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be handled by courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
Nothing in this section deprives consumers of mandatory rights or legal protections available in their country of residence.
10. Amendments
Fourhase Studio may update this Agreement when reasonably necessary to reflect changes in the Game, applicable laws, or related services.
Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels, such as Steam announcements, the Game, or the official website, where required.
Any amendments will take effect in accordance with applicable law.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights already granted to consumers where prohibited by law.
