END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

Developer: Iron Anchor Games LLC ("we," "us," or "our")
By installing, accessing, or using Down with the Ship (the "Game"), you ("User" or "you") agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.
1. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes on authorized platforms (e.g., Steam, web browsers). This license is conditional on your compliance with this EULA, applicable platform terms (e.g., Steam’s Subscriber Agreement), and all laws.
2. Account Requirements
Steam Users: Online features require a valid Steam account.
Browser Users: May require registration with accurate, current information (e.g., email).
Security: You are responsible for (a) maintaining account confidentiality, (b) all activities under your account, and (c) promptly notifying us of unauthorized access at dev@ironanchorgames.com.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
Use cheats, hacks, bots, or unauthorized third-party tools to alter gameplay or gain advantage.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Game.
Exploit bugs/glitches, harass others, or engage in unlawful conduct.
Use the Game commercially (e.g., for gambling, advertising, or data mining).
4. User-Generated Content
By submitting content (e.g., user created ships or campaigns), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute it. You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate laws. We may remove content at our discretion.
5. Privacy
We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein). By using the Game, you consent to data processing under GDPR and other applicable laws.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately for breach of this EULA. Upon termination, you must (a) cease all use of the Game and (b) delete all copies.
7. Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in the Game—including its software, graphics, sound, and trademarks—are and shall remain the sole property of Iron Anchor Games LLC or its licensors. No rights beyond the license granted herein are conveyed to you. Feedback you provide becomes our property without compensation.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Iron Anchor Games LLC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Game or your breach of this EULA.
9. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify the Game and this EULA at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-game notices. Continued use of the Game after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Disclaimers
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE GAME.
12. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: Supersedes all prior agreements.
Severability: Unenforceable clauses do not invalidate the rest.
Third-Party Platforms: Valve/Steam is not liable for the Game. Browser use is subject to our website terms.
Age Requirement: You confirm you are at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
