DAWN OF IRKALLA — END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

Effective 14 September 2026

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and GreenMind Media Inc. ("GreenMind", "we", "us" or "our"). It covers the Dawn of Irkalla software you install through Steam: the game client, its updates, and the files and documentation that come with them (together, the "Software"). By installing, launching or using the Software, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or play it, and uninstall it if you already have.

This EULA is between you and GreenMind, not Valve. Your use of Steam is governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement, and nothing here changes it. The current version of this EULA is always published at https://dawnofirkalla.gg/legal/eula.

1. This EULA and our other terms

Playing Dawn of Irkalla is also governed by these documents, each of which forms part of this EULA:

This EULA governs the Software itself: your licence to install and run it, and what you may and may not do with its code and files. The Terms of Service govern playing the game: your account, the servers, virtual items, how you behave, and moderation. Where they conflict about the Software, this EULA governs; about anything else, the Terms of Service do. The game will ask you to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before you play, and accepting this EULA does not replace that step.

You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must read and accept this EULA and the Terms of Service for you, and is responsible for your use of the Software.

2. Your licence

The Software is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to this EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and run the Software, through your Steam account, on computers you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.

That is the whole of the licence, and every right not expressly granted is reserved. It covers the Software only: it gives you no right to our servers, no right to have the game stay online, and no ownership of anything in the game.

3. Who owns the game

The Software and everything in it — code, art, animation, audio, music, text, characters, cards, lore, names, logos, and the look and feel of the game — belong to GreenMind or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Dawn of Irkalla, GreenMind and their logos are trademarks of GreenMind Media Inc.

4. What you may not do

Except where the law expressly permits it despite this restriction, and then only to the extent it does, you must not:

  • copy, sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, distribute or otherwise make the Software available to anyone else, except through features Steam itself provides;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, attempt to derive its source code, or extract, rip or repackage its assets or data files;
  • modify or patch the Software, create derivative works of it, or run it with code injected into it or any of its files altered — Dawn of Irkalla does not support mods;
  • circumvent, disable or interfere with any copy protection, encryption, cheat detection or other technical measure in the Software or on our servers;
  • run, host, connect to or promote any server, emulator or service that imitates ours, or that lets the game be played through anything other than our own services;
  • use the Software for any commercial purpose — in an internet café or gaming centre, or as part of a paid service, for example — without our written permission (content creation under clause 10 is allowed);
  • use the Software or its content to train or fine-tune artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models;
  • remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or other notice in the Software.

Cheating, exploiting bugs and interfering with other players are covered by clause 7 of the Terms of Service, which applies here as well.

5. An online game

Dawn of Irkalla is an online game, and it has no offline mode. To play you need an internet connection and a Steam account, which the game uses to sign you in to Epic Online Services and to our servers; the game may also offer to link a GreenMind account. The Software cannot be played without our servers, including the parts of it you may play alone. When you play with others, a match may be hosted on one player's computer — possibly yours — with the others connecting to it through Epic Online Services.

As clause 3 of the Terms of Service says, we make no commitment about server availability; and as clause 4 says, we may retire the game. If the game is retired, the Software will stop working for its main purpose, and your licence to run it does not entitle you to have it keep working. Nothing you have paid for, earned or unlocked entitles you to server availability.

Currencies, items, cards and progress in the game are covered by clause 5 of the Terms of Service: they are a licence to use within the game, not property, and they have no monetary value.

6. Updates and Early Access

We may update the Software at any time, and Steam may download updates automatically. Some updates are required, and an out-of-date copy may be unable to connect until it is updated. Updates can add, change or remove content and features, as clause 13 of the Terms of Service describes. Every update is part of the Software, and this EULA applies to it unless the update comes with terms of its own.

If Dawn of Irkalla is offered in Early Access, it is unfinished. Expect bugs, missing features and balance changes, and, where a change requires it, resets of progress. Buy it for what it is at the time, not for what we plan to add.

7. Test builds and pre-release access

If you have access to the Software, or to a version of it, before its release or outside its general release — through a key, a playtest, a beta branch or a branch password — that access is for testing, and:

  • we may end it at any time, with or without notice, including by revoking the key and removing the game from your Steam library;
  • test builds may be unfinished, unstable and unbalanced, and progress, items and accounts from a test may be reset or deleted, and need not carry over to release;
  • where we tell you a test is confidential, you must not stream, record, screenshot, share or describe anything from it until we say you may;
  • we may use your feedback as clause 8 of the Terms of Service describes.

8. Cheat detection and security

To keep the game fair and secure, our servers check what the Software sends them and watch for cheating, tampering and unauthorised software. We may add to or change these measures at any time, including by adding third-party anti-cheat software. If we add software that runs on your computer for this purpose, we will describe it in the Privacy Policy before it takes effect. Disabling, bypassing or interfering with any of these measures breaches clause 4, and may leave you unable to play.

9. Your data and voice chat

The Software communicates with our servers and our service providers in order to run the game. What it sends — including account and platform identifiers, your display name, and what you do in the game and in matches — and what we do with it, is set out in the Dawn of Irkalla Privacy Policy. Epic Online Services, provided by Epic Games, Inc., handles sign-in, friends, parties, sessions and voice chat for the game. Valve's handling of your data on Steam is governed by Valve's own privacy policy.

When a match is hosted on a player's computer, the players in it connect to one another through Epic Online Services, and may be able to see each other's network address.

Voice chat sends your voice, in real time, to other players in your game through Epic Online Services. Anyone in the channel can hear you, and the rules on conduct in the Terms of Service apply to what you say. You can turn voice chat, or just your microphone, off in the game's settings.

If the game crashes, it may save a crash report on your computer. It does not send that report to us.

10. Videos, streams and screenshots

You may stream, record and share video and screenshots of Dawn of Irkalla, and earn money from them through the ordinary monetisation features of the platforms you publish on — advertising, subscriptions, memberships, tips and the like — provided that:

  • you do not suggest that GreenMind endorses or sponsors you or your content, unless we have agreed to it in writing;
  • you do not sell the footage itself as a product;
  • you do not share anything we have asked you to keep confidential under clause 7;
  • the content complies with the Terms of Service.

Using our trademarks, logos or artwork beyond showing the game — on merchandise, for example — needs our written permission. We may withdraw this permission for particular content, or change it, at any time.

11. Health warning

A small number of people can have a seizure when exposed to certain flashing lights or visual patterns, including those in video games, even with no history of epilepsy. If you or anyone in your family has ever had a seizure or epilepsy, consult a doctor before playing. Stop playing at once and consult a doctor if you experience dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, disorientation, involuntary movements or convulsions. Play in a well-lit room, sit a comfortable distance from the screen, and take regular breaks.

12. Third-party software

The Software includes technology licensed from third parties, including:

  • Unreal® Engine. Dawn of Irkalla uses Unreal® Engine. Unreal® is a trademark or registered trademark of Epic Games, Inc. in the United States of America and elsewhere. Unreal® Engine, Copyright 1998 – 2026, Epic Games, Inc. All rights reserved.
  • Epic Online Services and its SDK, provided by Epic Games, Inc.;
  • the Redpoint EOS Online Framework, provided by Redpoint Games;
  • the Steamworks SDK, provided by Valve Corporation.

Those components, and the open-source software they and the engine include, are licensed under their own terms. The notices those terms require are in the ThirdPartyNotices folder installed with the game.

None of these third parties is a party to this EULA or owes you anything under it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, they provide their technology "as is", without warranty, condition or representation of any kind, and have no liability to you of any kind arising from the Software. Our licensors, including Epic Games, Inc., are intended third-party beneficiaries of clauses 2 to 4, 12, 14 and 15 of this EULA, and may enforce them directly.

13. Ending the licence

The licence lasts until it ends. It ends automatically, without notice, if you break this EULA, or if your access to the game is terminated under the Terms of Service. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the Software. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and uninstall it, and we are not obliged to refund or compensate you, except where the law requires it. Clauses 3, 4, 7 (as to confidentiality), 12, 14 to 18 and 20 survive the end of the licence.

14. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty or condition of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory — including any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement — from us or from any of our licensors, including Epic Games, Inc. and Valve Corporation.

Software has bugs, and games crash. We do not warrant that the Software will run without interruption or error, be secure, be compatible with your hardware, or be free of defects, or that any defect will be corrected; and clause 10 of the Terms of Service applies to the Software as it does to the game. Where the law does not allow a warranty to be excluded, this clause applies to the fullest extent it permits.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GreenMind Media Inc., its officers, employees and contractors, and our licensors, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, data, progress, virtual items or currency, goodwill or opportunity, however caused and on any theory of liability, arising out of or relating to the Software or your use of or inability to use it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid for Dawn of Irkalla in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty Canadian dollars (CA$50). To the same extent, our licensors have no liability to you at all.

Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

16. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in this EULA takes away any right you have as a consumer that the law where you live does not allow a contract to remove. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Québec, or anywhere else with mandatory consumer protections, those protections apply alongside this EULA and prevail over it where they conflict — including any statutory guarantee that the Software will match its description and be of acceptable quality, and any right to bring a claim in the courts where you live. Refunds of the purchase price are handled by Steam under its refund policy, without affecting those rights.

17. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Saskatchewan have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue, except where clause 16 gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

18. Export controls and sanctions

You may not download, access or use the Software in breach of the export-control or sanctions laws of Canada, the United States or any other country that applies, including from a country or region under comprehensive sanctions, or if you are a person those laws prohibit from receiving it.

19. Changes to this EULA

We may change this EULA from time to time. When we do, the effective date above changes, and Steam may ask you to accept the new version before you next launch the game. If you do not accept it, stop using the Software and uninstall it. Continuing to use the Software after a change takes effect means you accept the revised EULA.

20. General

If any provision of this EULA is found unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will stay in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this EULA; we may, in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. This EULA, together with the documents listed in clause 1, is the entire agreement between us about the Software. If we provide this EULA in another language and the versions conflict, the English version governs, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
