Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users when using the app [Finding Chuchu] (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), provided by ODDCADIA (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider").

Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms of Service are defined as follows:

User Registration refers to the process of signing up for membership using an email address as the ID to utilize the online services of the App.
Online Services refer to features such as connecting to servers to record scores and invade other players.
Platform Market refers to online marketplaces such as Google Play Store, App Store, and Steam, where apps can be published and sold.

Article 3 (Publication, Effectiveness, and Modification of Terms)
These Terms of Service will be disclosed before the "User Registration" screen. The Service Provider may modify the Terms for reasons of changing circumstances or business needs. Any revised Terms will be announced and require the user's consent through a UI displayed when accessing the "Online Services."
These Terms and any subsequent revisions will take effect upon publication and receipt of user consent.

Article 4 (Supplementary Rules)
Any matters not specified in these Terms shall comply with relevant laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications, Telecommunications Business Act, Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Consumer Protection Act, and other applicable laws and regulations.


Chapter 2: User Agreement

Article 5 (User Registration Procedure)
A user registration is completed by agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, filling out a registration form (email address as ID, nickname, and password), and submitting the form. The Service Provider will then send a verification email to the email address used during registration.
The applicant must verify this email and complete the authentication process to access the services. The verification email is valid for 10 minutes, after which the user must either request a resend or start the registration process with a new ID.
Unverified registration information will be automatically deleted after approximately one hour.


Chapter 3: Obligations of the Contracting Parties

Article 6 (User Obligations)
Users must familiarize themselves with and adhere to these Terms and announcements. Users must also refrain from any actions that disrupt the Service Provider's operations.


Chapter 4: Service Provision and Usage

Article 7 (Service Usage)
Users must use the App in compliance with these Terms. Matters not explicitly mentioned herein shall follow the content posted in the App’s announcements.

Article 8 (Provision of Information)
The Service Provider may provide various information to users via email deemed necessary for the use of services.

Article 9 (Advertisements)
The Service Provider may display advertisements related to the operation of the App.
The Service Provider shall not be responsible for any losses or damages resulting from user participation in promotional activities, communications, or transactions with advertisers displayed in the App.

Article 10 (Restrictions on Service Usage)
The Service Provider may restrict a user's access to services in the following cases:

Actions against public order, morals, or social norms.
Criminal acts or acts objectively recognized as related to crimes.
Defaming others or significantly hindering their service usage.
Sending unsolicited content or advertising messages against others' consent.
Activities such as hacking, spreading viruses, or disrupting the healthy operation of services.
Infringing on intellectual property rights or engaging in actions deemed as potential infringements.
Using another's ID or password fraudulently.
Violating applicable laws or when deemed inappropriate by the Service Provider.

Article 11 (Suspension of Service Provision)
The Service Provider may suspend all or part of the service in the following cases:

When telecommunication carriers or internet service providers cease services.
In case of a power outage.
Due to facility relocation, maintenance, or construction.
When a surge in service usage or equipment failure makes normal operation difficult.
In emergencies such as war, natural disasters, or national crises.


Chapter 5: Payment

Article 12 (Payment Method)
Payments shall be made through the respective Platform Market where the app is listed. Payment and refund policies follow the policies of the relevant Platform Market.


Chapter 6: Miscellaneous

Article 13 (Disclaimer and Liability)
The Service Provider shall be exempt from liability for service interruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters.
The Service Provider assumes no responsibility for outcomes arising from transactions or interactions between users or with third parties.
Users are responsible for damages or losses due to their negligence in managing IDs and passwords or unauthorized use by third parties.
Users violating these Terms shall indemnify the Service Provider for any resulting damages and shall hold the Service Provider harmless.

Article 14 (Dispute Resolution)
The Service Provider and users shall make every effort to resolve disputes arising from the use of the App amicably.
If disputes lead to litigation, the court with jurisdiction over the Service Provider's headquarters shall have exclusive jurisdiction.


Addendum
These Terms of Service shall take effect on December 1, 2024.

Purpose of Personal Information Use
The personal information collected is intended for the use of online features (hereinafter referred to as "Online Services") provided by the [Finding Chuchu] app by ODDCADIA.

Types of Personal Information Collected and Collection Methods
A. Types of Personal Information Collected

Email: The email address used during account creation
Language Code: The language code of the operating system currently in use
Market Platform Code: The market platform code used during app purchase
B. Collection Methods

Collected during initial account creation for each market platform
Retention Period of Personal Information
A. Personal information without email verification upon account creation:
Automatically deleted approximately 1 hour after the data collection time.
B. Personal information with completed email verification upon account creation:

Deleted immediately when the account deletion function provided by the app is used.
Deleted immediately if the account has not used Online Services for 5 years.
(Emails will be sent 5 times to notify the user in advance: 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, 1 week, and 1 day prior to deletion.)
