Thank you for using Vint
For more information on how to best use Vint, visit willse.me/VintDocs
Vint's interpolation is very high quality but computationally expensive.
If your video isn't smooth, try turning down the 'Max Vertical Resolution' setting.
Transcoding in the 'Offline Queue' tab allows even low end GPUs to interpolate at high resolutions and output framerates.
An RTX 3080 or RTX 4060 desktop can expect to smoothly interpolate 1080p video to 60FPS.
Newer generation 4000 and 5000 Nvidia GPUs have substantially improved tensor performance.
Be aware, in order to optimize tensor performance, every new combination of video resolution and RIFE model will open a commandline window running Nvidia's trtexec.exe.
This optimization step will run for approx. 30 seconds and will generate a small cache file.
This will only be required once for each resolution/model combination.
If installed, SVP has been known to add lots of registry keys that can interfere with the operation of Vint.
If you have any issues, please email me at VintSoftware@gmail.com
