END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY: This End-User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal contract between you and ThreeFrauds Studio regarding your use of the software product titled Harmony of Fear. By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree with these terms, do not install or use the Software.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE
Subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA, Developer hereby grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
2. LICENSE RESTRICTIONS
You shall not:
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software.
Distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer the Software to any third party.
Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks contained in the Software.
Use the Software in any manner that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software (including any modifications and updates) remain with Developer and its licensors.
This Software incorporates the Unreal Engine, a proprietary product of Epic Games, Inc. Usage of the Unreal Engine in your project is subject to Epic Games’ own licensing terms. You are responsible for complying with those third-party terms.
4. DISTRIBUTION ON STEAM
HOF is distributed through the Steam platform. By using the Software, you also agree to comply with the Steam Subscriber Agreement and any additional policies or terms imposed by Steam.
Developer is not responsible for any issues arising from Steam’s distribution policies, update mechanisms, or community features.
5. UPDATES, PATCHES, AND SUPPORT
Developer may, at its sole discretion, provide updates, patches, or modifications to the Software to fix errors or add enhancements.
There is no obligation for Developer to provide support, maintenance, or updates beyond those provided free of charge.
6. TERMINATION
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate immediately without notice if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this Agreement.
Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the Software and destroy all copies of it in your possession or control.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Software is provided “AS IS” without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Developer does not warrant that the Software will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be error-free.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Developer or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses) arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Software—even if Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction, e.g., the State of California, USA] without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to this EULA or the Software shall be resolved exclusively in the appropriate courts located within [Your Jurisdiction].
10. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this EULA is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this EULA will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between you and Developer regarding the Software and supersedes any prior agreements, understandings, or representations (oral or written) regarding the subject matter herein.
12. AMENDMENTS
Developer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace this EULA at any time. The most current version of the EULA will be made available with the Software and/or on Developer’s website. Your continued use of the Software after any modifications shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
