1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, copying, or using Witherwood (“the Game”), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (“EULA”). If you do not agree to the terms herein, do not install or use the Game.

2. Grant of License
Chad Slem grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Download, install, and play one copy of the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes;

Access and participate in the Game’s online multiplayer features;

Create and use modifications (“Mods”) for the Game, in accordance with Section 6.

This license applies whether you access the Game via Steam or other officially supported platforms.

3. Restrictions
You may NOT:

Sell, lease, license, or otherwise commercially exploit the Game or any part thereof;

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Game;

Use cheats, bots, exploits, or any unauthorized third-party software to alter gameplay;

Upload or distribute malicious content via the Game’s multiplayer features;

Use the Game or any Mods in any manner that violates applicable laws or infringes intellectual property rights.

4. Ownership
You acknowledge that you are granted a license to use the Game and that Chad Slemboski retains all rights, title, and interest in and to Witherwood, including all intellectual property and proprietary rights.

5. Multiplayer Services
Witherwood includes online multiplayer services. You agree to:

Follow community guidelines and respect other players;

Not engage in harassment, griefing, or toxic behavior;

Accept that your online access may be suspended or revoked at Chad Slemboski’s discretion for violations of this EULA.

6. Modding and User-Generated Content
You are permitted to create, use, and share Mods for Witherwood, subject to the following:

You retain ownership of original content you create;

By sharing Mods, you grant Chad Slemboski a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute those Mods for any purpose;

Mods must not contain or promote illegal content, infringe on third-party rights, or violate this EULA;

Mods must not interfere with the Game’s core functionality, DRM, or online services.

Chad Slemboski reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any Mods at their sole discretion.

7. Updates and Modifications
Chad Slemboski may issue patches, updates, or modifications that must be installed to continue using the Game. These may affect the functionality of Mods or other user-generated content.

8. Termination
This license will automatically terminate if you breach any term of this EULA. Upon termination, you must cease all use and destroy all copies of the Game in your possession.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty
Witherwood is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind. Chad Slemboski does not guarantee that the Game will be free from bugs, errors, or interruptions, or that online services will always be available.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chad Slemboski shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or system failure.

11. Governing Law
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States for any legal matter arising from this agreement.
