End User License Agreement (EULA) for Occultus Vitae - Hidden Life
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Place2Start Studio ("Developer") regarding the use of the video game Occultus Vitae ("Game"). By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not download, install, or use the Game.

1. License Grant
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Game solely for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the Developer.

2. Ownership
The Game, including but not limited to its content, characters, code, design, artwork, and music, is the sole property of the Developer. This Agreement does not transfer to you any ownership rights to the Game or its components.

3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Game or any part of it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game.
- Rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Game or its components to any third party.
- Use the Game for commercial purposes without the Developer's prior written consent.
- Exploit any part of the Game, including its content or mechanics, for personal gain or in a manner that violates applicable laws.

4. Updates and Modifications
The Developer may provide updates, patches, or modifications to the Game at its sole discretion. Such updates may modify or remove certain features, and the Developer is under no obligation to provide updates or to continue supporting the Game.

5. User-Generated Content
If the Game allows you to create or upload content, you grant the Developer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, distribute, and display such content within the Game and its promotional materials. You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights or violate applicable laws.

6. Warranty Disclaimer
The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Developer does not guarantee the Game will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Game. This includes but is not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or hardware damage.

8. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. The Developer may terminate this Agreement at any time if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the Game and delete all copies of it.

9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Germany / NRW. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Iserlohn.

10. Changes to this Agreement
The Developer reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Game after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
