1.1. Scope of processing of personal data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, address, telephone number, date of birth or e-mail address).
As a matter of principle, we process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our contents and services. The processing of personal data of our users regularly only takes place with the user's consent. An exception is made in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of data is permitted by legal regulations.
In principle, you can use our online offer without providing personal data. However, the use of certain services may require you to provide personal data, e.g. registration or participation in a competition. Mandatory information is always marked.

3.1. Transfer of data to third parties
Your personal data will only be passed on by us to third parties if we or the third party have a legitimate interest in the transfer or if we have your consent to do so. In addition, data may be transferred to third parties if we should be obliged to do so by law or by an enforceable official or court order.

3.1.1. Service provider
We reserve the right to use service providers for the collection or processing of data. Service providers only receive the personal data from us that they need for their specific activities. Service providers are usually integrated as so-called order processors, who may only process the personal data of the users of this online offer according to our instructions.

3.2. Duration of storage; retention periods
We store your data for as long as this is necessary to provide our online offer and the associated services or we have a legitimate interest in further storage. In all other cases, we delete your personal data with the exception of those data which we must continue to keep in order to comply with statutory (e.g. tax or commercial law) retention periods (e.g. invoices). We block data that is subject to a retention period until the expiry of the period.

4. OpenID using Google OAuth
The app offers the option to use the Google Open Authorisation 2 (OAuth2) method for login, which uses a token generated by the server. The user can authenticate himself with this protocol on a server without using passwords or a server of Brettspielwelt GmbH.
The Google API is used to retrieve the ID, first and last name, image picture and email address of the user. Only the first and last name is processed and stored.
By using the OpenID method with Google OAuth, users agree to the processing of the data collected about them by Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.


5. Game Sparks

The online game with other human players is handled via the Game Sparks platform. For this purpose we transmit the user name to the platform. Furthermore, the chat messages and the DeviceID for the use of push messages are transmitted to Game Sparks. Further personal data will not be transmitted.

By using the Online Game, you consent to the use of the data in the manner and for the purpose described above. You can also use the app without playing the online game, in which case no data will be transmitted to Game Sparks.

6. Users' rights
To assert your rights, please use the information under Contact. Please make sure that we are able to clearly identify your person. You have the right to information and - under certain conditions - to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection to the processing of your personal data and - from 25.05.2018 - to data transferability.
If you have given us permission to process your data, you can revoke this permission at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the processing of your data until revocation remains unaffected.

7. Right of appeal to the supervisory authority
