Hey everyone! Thanks SO much for playing RunningWitch!
Seeing you all enjoy our game in so many creative ways is a massive thrill for us on the dev team!Go Ahead and Post Your Vids & Share Your Art – We Love It!
Gameplay videos, walkthroughs, reviews, how-to's, reaction vids – feel totally free to upload them to YouTube, Twitch, social media, or wherever you like!
Fan art, comics, stories, cosplay, and all the other amazing things you create with your passion for the game? We're absolutely stoked to see them!
Honestly, we think it's super cool if your creations help spread the word about "[Game Title]" and get even more people to check it out!
But, hey, we do have a few things we'd like you to keep in mind & a couple of friendly rules to follow.
This Game is Our Creation, and We Hold the Rights!
We poured a lot of love (and probably too much coffee!) into making "[Game Title]". The copyright for everything in the game – characters, music, story, art, the whole shebang – belongs to us at "[Your Company Name]" or to the awesome folks who've licensed stuff to us. Just because we're excited to see your fan creations doesn't mean we're handing over these rights, okay? Think of it as you getting to play in our sandbox – it's still our sandbox, but we love seeing what cool things you build! This is our commercial creation, made with care for you to enjoy.
Here’s How We’d Love for You to Enjoy It!
Feel free to express yourself and have fun with it for your personal enjoyment!
If you want to monetize your videos (like with ads on YouTube) using the standard features of those platforms, that’s generally cool as long as you stick to their rules too.
Please Don't Do This Stuff – Promise?
Anything that seriously damages the game's image or reputation.
Content that's overly explicit (like R-rated stuff), excessively violent, or would make others feel genuinely uncomfortable.
Badmouthing other people or causing real trouble for anyone.
Making things that could easily be mistaken for official "[Game Title]" products or implying you're officially partnered with us when you're not (unless you actually are, of course!).
Messing with the game's code, distributing illegal copies of the game, or promoting cheats, hacks, or exploits.
Leaking unreleased information (like stuff from private betas, data-mined secrets, or things we haven't officially announced yet).
Anything that breaks the law.
Basically, anything that would make us say, "Oof, that's really not cool..."
If Something Comes Up…
If your fan creation leads to any kind of dispute or trouble between you and someone else, you'll generally need to handle that yourself. We can't take responsibility for those situations, sorry!
If we see something that clearly breaks these friendly rules, we might have to ask you to remove it. In really serious cases, we might need to take further action. But let's all try to keep things fun and avoid that!
We might get so excited about your awesome creations that we want to feature them on our official social media channels or website (like a "Check out this amazing fan art!" post). If we do, we'll always try our best to credit you as the creator! (If you'd rather we didn't share your specific piece, just give us a heads-up privately.)
These "Friendly Rules" Might Change!
To keep things running smoothly and make sure everyone's on the same page, these guidelines might get updated from time to time. If they do, we'll let you know through in-game announcements or on our official website. So, it’d be awesome if you could check in every now and then!
