End User License Agreement (EULA) for Chante: Fortress of Spores
Please read this End User License Agreement (EULA) carefully before playing Chante: Fortress of Spores. By downloading, installing, or using this game, you agree to the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the game.

1. LICENSE GRANT
Simon Wegner Simonsen ("the Developer") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use Chante: Fortress of Spores solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. This license applies only to the digital download of the game obtained through Steam.
2. OWNERSHIP
The Developer and their licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to Chante: Fortress of Spores, including but not limited to copyright, trademarks, designs, and source code. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you beyond the permissions expressly granted in this EULA.
3. RESTRICTIONS
You agree that you will not:
a) Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent Chante: Fortress of Spores or any part of it without the Developer’s written permission.
b) Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract or access the source code of the game.
c) Use Chante: Fortress of Spores for any commercial purpose or in any manner that infringes upon copyright or other intellectual property rights.
4. USE OF STEAMWORKS API
Chante: Fortress of Spores may use the Steamworks API to provide features such as friends lists, cloud saves, or achievements. Your use of these features is subject to Steam’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
5. UPDATES
The Developer may provide updates, patches, or modifications to Chante: Fortress of Spores to enhance the game experience. Such updates will be governed by this agreement unless stated otherwise.
6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
Chante: Fortress of Spores is provided "as is," without any warranties, express or implied. The Developer disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party rights.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall the Developer be liable for any losses or damages of any kind, including direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use Chante: Fortress of Spores, even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. TERMINATION
This license is effective from the moment you install or use the game and will remain in effect until terminated. The Developer may terminate this license if you fail to comply with any terms of this agreement. Upon termination, you must uninstall and delete all copies of Chante: Fortress of Spores.
9. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to any conflict of law principles.
