Please read this End-User License Agreement carefully before downloading or using the game Death's Web developed by Arachnocoder.
By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the Game.
1. License Grant
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not grant you any ownership rights to the Game.
2. Permitted User-Generated Content (Mods)
We encourage you to create self-made content, such as mods, custom levels, and similar add-ons ("User-Generated Content") for personal use. You retain ownership of your User-Generated Content. However, you agree not to:
Use any part of the Game’s assets, code, or intellectual property in a way that violates this Agreement.
Distribute or sell User-Generated Content that contains portions of our Game’s assets for commercial purposes without prior written consent from us.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Game, except for creating User-Generated Content as described in Section 2.
Distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the Game.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, except as permitted by applicable law.
Use the Game for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including but not limited to its design, characters, gameplay mechanics, and trademarks, are and will remain the property of Arachnocoder. The Game is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your ownership of any User-Generated Content does not grant you rights to our Game or its assets.
5. Updates and Changes
We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the Game. These updates may be installed automatically, and you agree that we may make such updates without notifying you. The terms of this Agreement will apply to any updates unless the update is accompanied by a separate agreement.
6. User-Generated Content
If you create User-Generated Content, you retain all ownership rights to your original content. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to distribute, display, and use your User-Generated Content in connection with the Game (e.g., featuring your content in promotions or community showcases), but only for non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.
7. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate immediately if you violate any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Game and delete any copies of the Game in your possession.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Game is provided 'as-is' without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be error-free or that it will function without interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Game, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. You may also be subject to additional local laws based on your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to this Agreement
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Agreement. Your continued use of the Game after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
