End User License Agreement (EULA)
IMPORTANT—READ CAREFULLY: Before using the software, please read the terms of this agreement. By installing, copying, or otherwise using the software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement, do not install or use the software.
1. Grant of License
This Agreement grants you the following non-exclusive rights:
Installation and Use: You may install and use one copy of the software on a single computer. If the software comes with a license for multiple copies, you may use multiple copies on multiple computers.
-Backup Copies: You may make copies of the software for backup and archival purposes, provided that you maintain all copyright and other proprietary notices.
2. Other Rights and Limitations
- Restriction on Transfer: Without prior express written consent from the copyright owner of the software, you may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the software or any portion thereof.
- Modifications and Derivative Works: Without prior express written consent from the copyright owner of the software, you may not modify, adapt, translate, rent, lease, lend, sell, create derivative works, decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the software.
- Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, rules, and regulations regarding your use of the software and associated with the software.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
The software and accompanying documentation are copyrighted materials and are protected under national and international copyright laws. All ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the software are owned by the creator of the software and its licensors.
4. Termination
Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice from the software creator if you fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the software and all of its component parts.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In no event shall the creator of the software or its suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
6. High-Risk Activities
The software is not designed for use in high-risk environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weaponry, in which the failure of the software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage.
