Cabin Mayhem End User License Agreement

By downloading, installing, launching, hosting, or playing Cabin Mayhem (“Game”), you agree to this End User License Agreement (“EULA”). If you do not agree to this EULA, do not download, install, launch, host, or play the Game.

1. License

Cabin Mayhem is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for private, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works from the Game except where expressly allowed by applicable law or by features intentionally provided in the Game.

2. Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including software, code, gameplay systems, artwork, audio, text, designs, trademarks, logos, characters, names, user interface elements, and other content, are owned by us or our licensors.

This EULA does not transfer ownership of the Game or any related intellectual property to you. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us and our licensors.

3. Unreal Engine and Third-Party Technology

The Game was developed using Unreal Engine. Unreal® is a trademark or registered trademark of Epic Games, Inc. in the United States of America and elsewhere.

Unreal Engine and related Unreal Engine technology included in the Game are provided only as incorporated in the Game in object code form and only to the extent necessary for you to use the Game as permitted by this EULA.

Epic Games, Inc. and its affiliates are not parties to this EULA and are not responsible for the Game. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our licensors expressly disclaim all representations, warranties, conditions, and liabilities related to Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine technology, and any related Epic Games technology included in or used by the Game, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

You may not extract, copy, modify, distribute, use, or incorporate Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine technology, or any related Epic Games technology from the Game into any other product, service, software, or project.

The Game may also include third-party software, middleware, plugins, libraries, or services. Such third-party components remain subject to their own applicable license terms and notices.

4. Platform Terms

If you access the Game through Steam or another platform, you must also comply with that platform’s applicable rules, subscriber agreement, terms of service, and policies.

If there is a conflict between this EULA and mandatory platform rules, the platform rules may apply to your use of that platform’s services.

5. User-Hosted Multiplayer

Cabin Mayhem uses player-hosted multiplayer. Multiplayer sessions, server names, chat, voice communication, gameplay conduct, and other player interactions may be hosted, controlled, or influenced by players rather than by us.

We do not actively monitor all player-hosted servers, multiplayer sessions, communications, or online interactions. You use online features at your own risk.

We do not guarantee that any player-hosted server will be safe, moderated, lawful, available, secure, or suitable for all players.

6. User Content and Player Conduct

You are responsible for any content, names, messages, communications, server names, gameplay behavior, or other material that you create, host, transmit, display, or share through the Game.

You must not use the Game to:

    []break any applicable law or regulation;[]harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, impersonate, or defraud others;[]share illegal, infringing, hateful, sexually exploitative, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content;[]infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;[]distribute malware, cheats, exploits, or harmful code;[]interfere with servers, networks, matchmaking, multiplayer sessions, or other players’ use of the Game;[]attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, devices, servers, or networks;[]use the Game for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to online features where required by law, platform policy, security needs, or serious abuse.

7. Cheats, Exploits, and Tampering

You must not use, create, distribute, sell, promote, or assist with cheats, bots, automation tools, unauthorized mods, exploits, trainers, memory editors, or other tools that alter the intended operation of the Game or provide an unfair advantage in multiplayer.

You must not interfere with, bypass, disable, or modify the Game’s files, networking, server behavior, security systems, access controls, or other technical protections except where expressly permitted by applicable law.

8. Mods and Community Content

Unless we provide official modding tools or written permission, you may not distribute modified versions of the Game or its files.

If the Game later supports mods, custom servers, workshop content, custom maps, or other community-created content, additional rules may apply. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create, upload, host, or share complies with this EULA, platform rules, and applicable law.

We may remove, disable, restrict, or report community content where required by law, platform policy, security needs, or serious abuse.

9. Updates and Availability

We may update, patch, modify, rebalance, suspend, or discontinue the Game or any online feature at any time.

Some features may require an internet connection, platform account, compatible hardware, updated software, or third-party services.

We do not guarantee that online features, player-hosted servers, matchmaking, multiplayer compatibility, save compatibility, or any specific feature will remain available indefinitely.

10. Privacy

The Game and related platform services may process limited technical, diagnostic, crash, gameplay, connection, multiplayer, or platform-related information necessary for operation, multiplayer functionality, security, debugging, crash diagnostics, analytics, or platform integration.

Where required, our separate privacy notice or the applicable platform’s privacy policy will explain how personal data is collected and used.

11. No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

This includes, without limitation, any implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, security, compatibility, accuracy, reliability, or error-free performance.

We do not warrant that the Game, Unreal Engine technology included in the Game, online features, player-hosted servers, matchmaking, multiplayer compatibility, communications, or any user-hosted content will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, moderated, lawful, or available.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we, our licensors, Epic Games, Inc., and Epic’s affiliates are not liable for any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or related to:

    []the Game;[]Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine technology, or related Epic Games technology included in or used by the Game;[]player-hosted content, servers, communications, names, messages, or conduct;[]loss of data, saves, progress, settings, achievements, or access;[]service interruptions, multiplayer issues, connection problems, crashes, bugs, errors, or compatibility problems;[]unauthorized access, security incidents, or conduct by other players;[]indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages;[]loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, or expected savings.

Nothing in this EULA limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

13. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your violation of this EULA, your misuse of the Game, your user-hosted content, or your unlawful conduct.

This section does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.

14. Termination

This EULA remains effective until terminated. Your license automatically terminates if you violate this EULA.

Upon termination, you must stop using the Game and uninstall or delete any unauthorized copies.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to online features where necessary to enforce this EULA, comply with law, protect users, protect the Game, address security issues, or follow platform requirements.

15. Changes to This EULA

We may update this EULA from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Game, the store page, platform tools, or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of the Game after an updated EULA becomes effective means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Any disputes will be handled in the competent courts of Finland, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring claims in another jurisdiction.

17. Severability

If any part of this EULA is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

18. Entire Agreement

This EULA is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Game and replaces any prior agreements or understandings about the Game, except for applicable platform terms, third-party license terms, or mandatory legal rights that cannot be excluded.
