End User License Agreement (EULA) for ChatTDT on Steam
1. Introduction
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Ayrton Alexis ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the game ChatTDT ("Game") provided through the Steam platform ("Platform"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, access, or use the Game.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial use on a compatible device that you own or control.
3. Ownership
The Game is licensed, not sold. This EULA does not grant you any ownership rights in the Game. All rights, titles, and interests in and to the Game, including but not limited to any content, features, updates, and modifications, are and will remain the property of Ayrton Alexis.
4. Restrictions
You agree not to:
-Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Game.
-Distribute, transfer, sublicense, lease, lend, or rent the Game to any third party.
-Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Game, except as permitted by applicable law.
-Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the Game.
-Use the Game for any commercial purposes or in any manner not expressly authorized by this EULA.
5. Updates and Changes
Ayrton Alexis may provide updates, patches, and other modifications to the Game at its discretion. These updates may be necessary to maintain the functionality of the Game. You agree that the Game may update automatically without prior notice, and this EULA will apply to all such updates.
6. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term of this EULA. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Game and delete all copies of the Game in your possession or control.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ayrton Alexis disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Ayrton Alexis does not warrant that the Game will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Game will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Ayrton Alexis be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Game; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Game; (c) any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content; or (d) any other matter related to the Game.
9. Governing Law
This EULA and your use of the Game are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this EULA or the Game will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United Kingdom.
10. Miscellaneous
If any provision of this EULA is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between you and Ayrton Alexis regarding the Game and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, regarding the Game.
