These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of STUNTBOOST (the "Game"), including its online features and leaderboards. By installing or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using the Game

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the Game for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and the applicable Steam terms.

You may not use the Game or its online features to interfere with the Game, other players, or our services.

2. Leaderboards

The Game includes online leaderboards. Your chosen username and leaderboard records may be visible to other players, including players using the friends leaderboard.

Leaderboard records must be achieved through player input and without external assistance.

Glitches, bugs, unintended mechanics and other quirks of the Game are allowed.

The following are not allowed for leaderboard records:

• manipulating or altering the game timer;
  
• deliberately slowing down or otherwise manipulating the execution of the Game to gain an advantage;
  
• machine-assisted play, including TAS (tool-assisted speedruns);
  
• automated programs, scripts, macros or similar tools that generate or automate player input, including automatic button-spamming programs.

3. Cheating and leaderboard enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate leaderboard records and to remove or invalidate records that we reasonably determine were achieved in violation of these Terms.

We may also restrict or ban players from submitting new records or participating in our online leaderboards if we reasonably determine that they have cheated, manipulated the Game or leaderboard, or otherwise undermined fair competition.

This may include action based on cheating detected before, during, or after a competition or leaderboard period.

4. Usernames

We may remove, modify, restrict or replace usernames that are offensive, abusive, discriminatory, impersonate another person or entity, or otherwise violate these Terms.

5. Changes to the Game and Rules

We may patch or otherwise modify the Game and its online features. We may also change leaderboard rules where reasonably necessary to maintain fair competition, security, or the integrity of the Game.

Changes to the rules will generally apply going forward. We may nevertheless review or remove previously submitted records if we later determine that they were obtained through cheating or other prohibited conduct.

6. Online Features

Online features require an internet connection and may depend on third-party services, including Steam. We do not guarantee that online features will always be available or remain unchanged.

7. Intellectual Property

The Game and its content are owned by Byting Games e.K. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted by these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

8. Privacy

We process personal data in connection with the Game and its online features as described in our Privacy Notice.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be made available with the Game or through our website.
