Welcome to the End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") for the use of Lappelduvide (the "Game") on the Steam platform. Please read this Agreement carefully before downloading, installing, or using the Game. By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, do not download, install, or use the Game.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, Scratch Byte Studios hereby grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. This license is granted solely for use on devices that you own or control and as permitted by the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
2. Restrictions
You shall not:
a) Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Game, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
b) Sell, rent, lease, license, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Game or any rights to the Game to any third party;
c) Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the Game;
d) Use the Game for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
e) Use the Game in a manner that may cause harm or distress to yourself or others, including but not limited to those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other similar conditions.
3. Content Warning
Lappelduvide may contain intense scenes, including but not limited to jumpscares, graphic imagery, and disturbing content. By agreeing to this Agreement and using the Game, you acknowledge that you are aware of these elements and accept full responsibility for any resulting emotional or psychological effects.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Scratch Byte Studios be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Game, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Scratch Byte Studios's total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount actually paid by you for the Game.
5. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated by you or Scratch Byte Studios. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement. Upon termination of this Agreement, you must cease all use of the Game and destroy all copies of the Game in your possession or control.
6. Miscellaneous
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Scratch Byte Studios regarding the use of the Game and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, regarding such subject matter. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be exclusively submitted to the competent courts of the Philippines.
By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, do not download, install, or use the Game.
