End User License Agreement (EULA)
Evil Software - Homestead Online
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Evil Software ("ES") for the use of Homestead Online ("the Game"). By installing, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
1. License Grant
Subject to the terms of this Agreement, ES grants User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes on a single PC.
2. In-Game Purchases
The Game may include in-game purchases. User agrees that all purchases made within the Game are final and non-refundable. ES reserves the right to modify or discontinue any in-game purchases at any time without notice.
3. Gameplay
The Game features crafting, trading, and combat mechanics. User agrees to abide by the rules and guidelines established within the Game, including but not limited to being kind to other players.
4. Account Creation
User must create an account to access and play the Game. User agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account and to keep login credentials confidential.
5. Online Multiplayer
The Game includes online multiplayer interactions. User acknowledges and agrees that their interactions with other players are subject to the terms of this Agreement and any additional rules or guidelines provided by ES.
6. Data Privacy
ES is committed to protecting User data. User data is digitally secured and not shared with third parties except as required by law or as necessary for the operation of the Game.
7. User-Generated Content
User-generated content within the Game remains the property of the creator. By submitting user-generated content, User grants ES a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, adapt, and distribute such content within the Game.
8. Modification and Third-Party Software
User agrees not to modify the Game files or use third-party software to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt the gaming experience for other players.
9. Support
For support or assistance with the Game, User may contact ES by emailing rob@evilsoftware.lol
10. Termination
ES reserves the right to terminate or suspend User's access to the Game at any time for any reason without notice.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between User and ES regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
By installing, accessing, or using the Game, User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
