1. Introduction
This End User License Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "EULA") is a legally binding agreement between you and Cyrivan Zhao (hereinafter referred to as "Developer," "we," or "our") regarding the use of "Chicago Project" (hereinafter referred to as the "Product"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using this Product, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the Product.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with all terms and conditions of this EULA, the Developer hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Product on devices personally owned or controlled by you, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 The majority of the Product's content, including but not limited to game code, original images, text, gameplay, and original audio, is owned by Cyrivan Zhao. These contents are protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property laws and treaties.
3.2 Certain elements in the Product, including but not limited to sound effects, Mozart's music, some non-customized plugins, and certain background images created using Photoshop-edited real photographs, may not be protected by Cyrivan Zhao's intellectual property rights. The use of these elements complies with their respective license terms or fair use principles.
4. Use Restrictions
You agree not to, and will not permit others to: a) copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Product; b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Product; c) remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the Product; d) sell, rent, lease, distribute, transfer, or sublicense the Product; e) use the Product to create any illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise offensive content.
5. User-Generated Content
The Product allows users to create or share content. You retain ownership of the content you create. However, you grant the Developer a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, copy, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content.
6. Updates and Maintenance
The Developer may provide Product updates from time to time. These updates may include bug fixes, feature enhancements, or entirely new versions. You agree that the Developer is not obligated to provide any specific updates or continue support for any particular version of the Product.
7. Disclaimer
The Product is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Product, even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
This license will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any terms of this EULA. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Product and destroy all copies.
10. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of your country/region, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. Modifications to the EULA
Cyrivan Zhao reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time. Any modifications will take effect immediately upon the posting of the modified EULA. We will notify you via Steam. Your continued use of the Product will be deemed as your acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree with the modified EULA, you should immediately cease using the Product.
