for Incursion2D ("The Game") by Teenyplx / Sanctuary Studios ("The Developer")

By installing, accessing, or playing Incursion2D, you agree to the following terms:

1. License

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the Game. You do not own the Game or its content.

2. Steam Dependency

The Game is designed to function with Steam and the Steam API.

If Steam or its services stop functioning, access to the Game or its features may be lost.

The Developer is not responsible for the loss of items, progress, or access if Steam or the Steam Inventory Service is discontinued.

3. Anti-Cheat and Integrity

To protect the integrity of gameplay and the experience of all users, the Game performs local checks on your device while running. These checks may include detecting modification tools or unauthorized activity designed to alter the Game while it is running.

• No personally identifiable information is collected or transmitted.
  
• The Developer does not store process data or scan results on its servers.
  
• Only gameplay-related save data is stored server-side, and such data is not linked to real-world identities.

By playing the Game, you consent to these integrity checks.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are forbidden and may lead to enforcement actions (including bans or loss of save files):

• Using external programs to spawn items or alter gameplay.
  
• Modifying or tampering with Game files.
  
• Memory editing or altering Game code at runtime.
  
• Exploiting in-game bugs or vulnerabilities.
  
• Harassing players or engaging in disruptive behavior.

5. Liability

The Game is provided “AS IS.” The Developer is not responsible for:

• Lost data, items, or save files.
  
• Platform or service failures (e.g., Steam downtime or server power loss).
  
• Damages caused by prohibited conduct.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the European Union.

7. Updates

The Developer may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Game after updates means you accept the new terms.
