Please read this before using Platform Builder. By using Platform Builder, you are making a binding agreement between the developer and yourself.
1) Definitions
--------------
"Platform Builder" refers to Platform Builder Standard and Platform Builder Pro.
"Developer" refers to the developer of Platform Builder, also known as Matthew Tingblad, TingThing, Ting_Thing, TingThing09, or Ting Thing Productions.
"User" refers to you, the person using Platform Builder.
2) Liability
------------
This software is provided "as is" and will continue to be updated according to the ability and discretion of the developer.
Platform Builder is without warranty or representation of any kind. In no way is the developer liable for loss of data, corruption, or loss of information.
3) Scope
--------
You may install and use Platform Builder for personal use (provided you have paid any license fee if this applies)
You may create games with Platform Builder for commercial or noncommercial use, provided that the user complies with the terms of distribution outlined below.
If you use Platform Builder Pro, you will have access to image files of some sprites within Platform Builder. You are free to use the images for purposes outside of Platform Builder for noncommercial use.
You must not copy, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend Platform Builder Pro or the license to use Platform Builder Pro.
You must not modify, adapt, merge, translate, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer Platform Builder or any part of it.
You must not use Platform Builder for any illegal, unlawful, or immoral purposes.
You must not copy, move, rearrange, transfer, modify, add to, remove from, or mess with any of the data files for Platform Builder from the Windows file explorer or any other means of technology other than through Platform Builder itself unless you are given written permission from the developer for a specific purpose.
Your projects with Platform Builder must not include any illegal or infringing content.
Your projects with Platform Builder must not include any violations of third-party rights. You are held responsible for images, audio, text, and all other forms of information that you create or bring into your Platform Builder Project. The developer holds no responsibility for copyright infringement or other illegal activities that may take place as the user composes, creates, and/or imports anything into a Platform Builder project.
While using Platform Builder, you must not create, compose, upload, or import anything unlawful, defamatory, offensive, pornographic, racist, derogatory, discriminating, or invasive of another person's privacy. The developer holds no responsibility for inappropriate content that a user may include in a Platform Builder project.
4) Terms of Distribution
------------------------
The user may distribute their own user-made games only when all of the following items are satisfied:
a. The user is authorized to use Platform Builder Pro.
b. The user is in right standing with everything in this EULA for using Platform Builder.
c. The user is the rightful creator/owner of the user-made game.
d. The user is of legal age to sell/distribute the user-made game.
e. The user-made game does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other rights.
f. The user-made game does not threaten or violate any laws.
g. The user-made game does not contain any computer viruses, spyware, malware, or other harmful programs.
h. The user does not distribute the user-made game in any illegal way or through any illegal platforms or publishers.
i. The user accepts that they, not Platform Builder or the developer, is solely responsible for any issues, claims, and legal disputes of the user-made game.
5) The Explore Section
----------------------
The Explore Section inside Platform Builder allows users to view and play Platform Builder games built by others in the Platform Builder community. It is located from the Main Menu of Platform Builder. For a user to enter and use the Explore Section, the user must agree to the following:
a. By using the Platform Builder Explore section, you acknowledge that Platform Builder will automatically download some text files and image files so that each of the games and levels can be displayed in the Explore section.
b. You must not add any games or levels from the explore section to your own Platform Builder save files, unless the game or level is marked as open source.
c. You must not modify, copy, transfer, adapt, merge, disassemble, or use any of the source material of other Platform Builder games or levels, unless the game or level is marked as open source.
d. The developer strives to keep the content in the Explore Section free of any negative and/or harmful content. However, by using the Platform Builder Explore section, you acknowledge that you will be downloading and playing games and levels from the internet at your own risk.
e. Those who publish their own game(s) on the Explore Section reserve the right to modify or terminate their game(s) at any time for any reason.
f. The developer reserves the right to modify or terminate the Explore Section service at any time for any reason.
g. The Platform Builder Explore section is only for those who are of legal age to form a binding contract. Anyone under 13 years of age must have consent from the person's legal parent or guardian.
6) Term

This License will end automatically if you breach any of the terms.
If this License ends, you must stop using Platform Builder and destroy and erase any copies you have.
7) General

By using Platform Builder, you acknowledge that Platform Builder will automatically download text-based and image content to be used for official announcements and other information pertaining to the functioning of Platform Builder.
By using Platform Builder, you acknowledge that certain functions will open up web pages pertaining to Platform Builder on your internet browser.
By using Platform Builder, you acknowledge that Platform Builder may collect and send quantitative data to the developer about how often Platform Builder is played on your computer, how long, and how it is used. This data is solely for the purpose of analytics, and none of the data is personal.
These terms of use apply to all sections of Platform Builder.
These terms of use contain the whole agreement of all parts of Platform Builder.
The rights granted in this license are non-exclusive.
