LEGAL NOTICE FOR YOUR ACCESS AND USE OF THIS GAME
EFFECTIVE AS OF 12/3/2025
We are excited that you are here to participate in this playtest. This is an early version of the game, and while the environment is meant to be fun, we do need to make you aware of a few important rules before you jump in. These rules help us run the playtest smoothly and responsibly and allow us to keep improving the game based on your experience. By taking part in this playtest, you agree to the terms below.
Game Content Ownership. All materials you encounter or access during the playtest, including, but not limited to, gameplay, visuals, audio, art, story, user interface, code, characters, features, and any other assets (“Game Content”), are the exclusive property of Muse Games Corp., (“MUSE”) its licensors, or third-party rights holders. You obtain no rights whatsoever in the Game Content. You may not copy, record, distribute, display, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any Game Content. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, you may record, stream, screenshot, and display gameplay content for non-commercial purposes, subject to any guidelines MUSE may issue. Streaming and publishing on monetization platforms, such as Twitch, is considered a non-commercial purpose. Your access to the Game Content is a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license solely for the purpose of participating in this playtest.
Ownership of Feedback. Any comments, suggestions, bug reports, ideas, notes, reactions, recordings, or other materials and information you provide (“Feedback”) are your responsibility. By participating, you assign to MUSE all rights, title, and interest in and to your Feedback, including all intellectual property rights included therein or arising therefrom, whether now or in the future. If assignment is not permitted by law, you grant MUSE a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully transferable and sublicensable license to use your Feedback for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without compensation or credit. You waive any moral rights in your Feedback to the maximum extent permitted by law.
No Warranties. THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” MUSE MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND (EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE), INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY OR UPTIME, PERFORMANCE OR STABILITY. MUSE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE GAME WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, ERRORS, SECURITY ISSUES, OR DATA LOSS.
Limitation of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUSE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE PLAYTEST, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE PLAYTEST MAY CAUSE CRASHES, BUGS, INSTABILITY, LOSS OF PROGRESS OR DATA, OR UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR. YOU PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
MUSE may suspend or terminate your access to the playtest at any time, for any reason or no reason. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the game and delete all playtest materials in your possession
Privacy. MUSE may collect limited technical and gameplay data necessary to operate and improve the playtest; by participating, you consent to this collection and may contact us at MUSE with any data-related requests. You can request to review the data that MUSE has collected and that MUSE deletes the data. MUSE will retain the data for a period of time permitted and or required under the law.
