These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Play With Your Cat! game ("App"), including its free demo and the full version, created and provided by Herra Koira Company ("Company"). These Terms supplement the Steam Subscriber Agreement, which governs your purchase, refunds and Steam account. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. You must have the necessary legal capacity in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or guardian.

2.1. The App is available on Steam for PC, as a free demo and as a full version that can be purchased.

2.2. You are responsible for ensuring that your computer meets the minimum requirements for the App.

2.3. The Company may update, patch or modify the App. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection law.

3.1. The demo is free. The full version is sold through Steam. The App contains no other purchases.

3.2. Payments, refunds and purchase-related disputes are handled by Steam under the Steam Subscriber Agreement. The Company does not process payments directly.

4.1. The App is intended to be used together with a pet cat. Using it involves physical interaction between your pet, your computer and its surroundings, which carries inherent risks, including injury to your pet, to you or to other people, and damage to your equipment.

4.2. When using the App you agree to:
- supervise your pet at all times while the App is in use;
- make sure your pet is healthy and suitable for active play, and consult a veterinarian first if you are unsure (for example if your pet is a kitten, is elderly, is overweight, or has a medical condition);
- stop immediately if your pet shows signs of distress, exhaustion, overheating, difficulty breathing or aggression;
- place your computer, monitor and peripherals securely so they cannot be knocked over, and keep cables out of your pet's reach;
- keep the play area free from small, sharp, breakable or otherwise hazardous objects;
- protect yourself, children and other people present from scratches and bites;
- keep young children and other pets away from the play session unless closely supervised.

4.3. The App is entertainment software. It is not veterinary advice and does not replace professional care or training for your pet. We highly encourage you to read the Safety + How To Play sections that the game displays during the initial launching of the application.

4.4. You are solely responsible for the safety and well-being of your pet, yourself, other people and your equipment while using the App, and you agree to thoroughly acquaint yourself with these safety guidelines before use.

5.1. You agree not to engage in any activity that may interfere with the operation of the App or violate these Terms.

5.2. You shall not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to distributing harmful code or infringing on intellectual property rights.

6.1. All content, including but not limited to graphics, video, and text, in the App is the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property rights.

6.2. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use the content without the Company's prior written consent, except as permitted by law.

7.1. The App does not collect personal data from you. Steam may process data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

7.2. If you contact us, we use the contact details you provide (for example your email address) only to respond to you.

8.1. The Company may suspend or terminate your right to use the App if you materially violate these Terms.

9.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9.2. The Company disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the safety, effectiveness, or suitability of the App for any particular purpose, including its suitability for any individual pet.

10.1. You understand and accept that using the App involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical harm to pets, injury to people, damage to computers and other equipment, and other unforeseeable dangers.

10.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any harm, damage or loss (including harm to pets, people or property), arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the same extent, you release the Company from any such liability.

10.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or intentional misconduct, or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

11.1. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims, losses, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, brought by third parties and arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

12.1. The Company may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the Steam store page or in update notes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
