By playing this game, you agree to the below Microsoft Flight Simulator Code of Conduct, as well as the Microsoft Services Agreement available at: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement and Privacy Statement, available at: http://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement/.
MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR CODE OF CONDUCT
By playing this game, you agree to the Microsoft Flight Simulator Code of Conduct. Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game for everyone. We continue to strive to create and maintain a community of positivity that grows with us.
This Code of Conduct applies to Microsoft Flight Simulator and all Microsoft Flight Simulator social spaces (including Discord). This Code of Conduct is subject to change. By playing Microsoft Flight Simulator and using its associated online services, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
We apply our content moderation policies diligently, objectively, and proportionately. Our platform services respect the fundamental rights of all parties involved, including your freedom of expression. Players are also subject to the Microsoft Services Agreement, Privacy Statement and the Xbox Code of Conduct, which are incorporated herein by reference.
PLAYER REPORTING
We want to ensure you know what options are available to you should you run into issues with other players in the game. Unfortunately, not all players behave themselves. Accordingly, we may take enforcement actions to uphold our Xbox Community Standards.
The two main options available are BLOCKING A PLAYER and REPORTING A PLAYER. In many negative player-to-player interactions, you might think that REPORTING a player is the right thing to do. However, this may not always be the case.
If you do not get along with someone but that player has not violated the Code of Conduct, then please use the BLOCK PLAYER feature for your gaming platform. Information on how to can be found at the following links for Xbox or Steam. This will prevent the blocked player from interacting or communicating with you within your gaming platform. If you reconcile with that player later, you can unblock them. This does NOT prevent the blocked player from interacting with you outside Microsoft Flight Simulator, so remember not to share your personal information with people you do not know.
If you have witnessed or experienced another player or players violating the Code of Conduct, you can report them on the Microsoft Flight Simulator website.
PLAYERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO:
- Report Bugs - Anytime you see something that seems broken, let us know!
- Be Respectful and Welcoming - Microsoft Flight Simulator allows you to play your own way, so not everyone will have the same experiences as you and your friends.
- Be Part of Our Community - We couldn’t make Microsoft Flight Simulator without you. Check us out on Discord, or follow us on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook!
PLAYERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO:
- Discriminate- We do not tolerate unjust or prejudiced treatment against anyone. Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game for everyone regardless of race, color, creed or religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, and genetic information (including family medical history).
- Harass (Troll, Grief) - Another player uses words or engages in behavior that annoys, threatens, intimidates, or demeans a person,
- Behave Offensively - Players are not allowed to engage in behavior that is offensive to other players, including vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, misogynistic, prejudicial (racially or ethically) or otherwise objectionable.
- Use unauthorized hardware or software - Software or hardware that interferes with or disrupts gameplay, forums, Support, or any Microsoft- or Asobo-owned entities, regardless of intention, is prohibited.
