End-User License Agreement (EULA) for Demonsomnia
Introduction
Please read this End-User License Agreement (EULA) carefully. This legal agreement is between you (referred to as "you") and Serhat AKGUL (referred to as "us" or "we"), the creator of Demonsomnia (referred to as "the Game"). By installing and using the Game, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this EULA. It's important to note that we do not sell the Game to you; instead, this EULA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Game.
In this EULA, "Serhat AKGUL" and "Serhat AKGÜL" are considered identical and interchangeable, and any reference to one includes the other.
Grant and Scope of License
License Grant:
In consideration of your agreement to abide by this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Game. This license is granted indefinitely and is subject to the terms of this EULA.
Permitted Actions:
You may:
Install and use the Game solely for personal purposes.
Receive and use any free supplementary software code or updates provided by Serhat AKGUL, such as patches and corrections, from time to time.
Updates:
We reserve the right to update the Game or require you to update it to ensure that it aligns with the description provided to you.
Restrictions
By using the Game, you agree to the following restrictions:
Copying: You shall not copy the Game, except when such copying is incidental to normal use or necessary for backup or operational security.
Copyright Notice: Our copyright notice must be included on all copies of the Game in any form.
Security: You must keep all copies of the Game secure and maintain accurate records of their locations.
Modifications: You shall not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, loan, translate, merge, adapt, vary, alter, or modify the Game or permit it to become part of other programs.
Reverse Engineering: You shall not disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Game.
Distribution: You shall not provide or make the Game available to any person in any form, whole or in part, without our prior written consent.
Compliance: You must comply with all applicable technology control and export laws and regulations.
Gameplay Influence: You shall not create, use, offer, advertise, make available, or distribute any code, data, method, or device that influences or facilitates gameplay, accesses or modifies the Game in an unauthorized manner, or is used in connection with the Game to change or imitate its functionality.
Support Services: Improper use of our support services is prohibited.
Server Disruption: You shall not disrupt or overload servers used to support the Game, participate in attacks, or attempt to disrupt Game use, including denial-of-service attacks.
Information Collection: You shall not access, intercept, or collect information without consent, whether from support services we provide, in transit to or from the Game, or contained in network traffic related to Game content.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership:
You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in the Game belong to Serhat AKGUL, and these rights are licensed, not sold, to you. You have no intellectual property rights in or to the Game, except for the right to use it in accordance with this EULA.
Source Code:
You acknowledge that you have no right to access the Game in source code form, except as expressly provided in this EULA.
Age Restrictions
The Game contains intense horror and blood elements. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Game. By accepting this EULA, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
User Communications
Any information you provide within the Game, such as your in-game nickname, server name, or text, is your sole responsibility. This includes any text or sound you transmit. Swearing, insults, and legal offenses are strictly prohibited. You agree not to create or share any content that is illegal, infringing, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
Legal Disclaimer Regarding the Use of Various Sounds and Visuals in the Game
By sharing or using various sounds and visuals from the game on social media platforms or other channels, you acknowledge and agree that you do so at your own risk and discretion. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for any copyright claims, infringement notices, or legal actions that may arise from the use of these materials.
The sounds, music, visuals, and other content included in the game may be subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights held by third parties. While we strive to ensure that we have the necessary rights or permissions to use and distribute these materials within the game, we cannot guarantee that all content is free from potential copyright claims or other legal issues. Therefore, it is your responsibility to ensure that your use of any sounds, music, visuals, or other content from the game complies with applicable copyright laws and regulations.

Termination of the Agreement
This End-User License Agreement (EULA) may be terminated under the following circumstances:
Voluntary Termination:
You, the user, have the right to terminate this EULA at any time by providing written notice to Serhat AKGUL. Upon such voluntary termination, you agree to cease all access to and use of the Game.
Breach of EULA:
We reserve the right to terminate this EULA immediately, without notice, in the event of a material breach of any of its terms and conditions. Such termination will result in the immediate cessation of all licenses granted under this EULA, and you must discontinue all use of the Game.
Survival of Certain Provisions:
Termination of this EULA does not affect the validity and enforceability of the following provisions, which shall survive termination:

Steam Platform Alignment
This EULA is aligned with the policies of the Steam platform, especially concerning refunds and user rights. By using the Game on Steam, you agree to abide by both this EULA and Steam's terms and conditions.
