Age Requirement
You must be the age of 13 or older in order to use our services.
Inappropriate Behaviour
In the simplest form, treat others the way you want to be treated. Causing harm or a negative experience for other users will not be tolerated.
A user cannot, including but not limited to:
Express hate speech/racism.
Express NSFW behaviour.
Express illegal behaviour.
Stalk/Harass other users.
Failure to follow this will result in a suspension from public instances or an account suspension.
Client Modifications
Creating your own client modifications or "mods" is allowed as long as it follows the Guidelines and the Terms of Service.
Prohibited client modifications goes under, including but not limited to:
Tampering with the network communication between and/or from our services.
Causing harm to other users.
Creating and/or using exploits.
Creating "bots" or other automated tools.
Collecting/Mining data from the game client.
Cheating and/or gaining an unfair advantage in "game worlds".
Failure to follow this will result in an account suspension.
PoligonVR API
Our API is and will remain un-documented. However you can still use the API for your own personal projects. Make sure to cache responses appropriately and dont send requests too often.
Prohibited API usage goes under, including but not limited to:
Maliciously using the API.
Collecting/Mining data from the API.
Sending unnecessary requests.
Accessing endpoints that arent meant to be accessed by a normal user.
Failure to follow this will result in an account suspension.
Content Creation
Custom content that you upload to PoligonVR must follow the rest of the guidelines. You must have the ownership/right to upload said content to our services and/or have the required licenses/permissions of said content to make it publically available for anyone to use. You as the uploader are always held liable for what other users use your public or shared content.
The content cannot contain or be used for, including but not limited to:
Crash, lag, harass or cause discomfort to other users.
Be incorrectly tagged with the content gating system.
Hate speech/racism.
Malicious features.
"NSFW" features.
Illegal material.
Failure to follow this will result in suspension of your ability to upload content or an account suspension.
Content Reverse Engineering
You shall not extract, tamper or "rip" content/assets from PoligonVR and/or its services. Doing so will result in a permanent account suspension.
Account Sharing
Sharing your account with another user is prohibited at all times. If your intentions are to upload an avatar to someone else's account, use the avatar sharing/transfer feature instead.
Cryptocurrency
We do not tolerate promotion of "cryptocurrency", "NFT's" or any other "blockchain technologies" under any circumstances.
Account Suspensions
While your account has an active suspension, you cannot use an alternate account to bypass it. Doing so will increase the duration of the suspension and permanently void your ability to appeal. The PVR Team has the right to suspend any account at any time for any reason. Suspensions can be appealed by creating a support ticket at https://help.poligonvr.com.
Impersonating
You cannot maliciously impersonate or claim to be another user or a PVR Team member.
File Storage
Each account has a limit on how much data can be uploaded to our services. This includes all images/thumbnails, avatars, worlds and props. You can become a PVR Supporter to increase this limit or apply to become a PVR Partner. Using an alternate account to intentionally bypass this limit will result in a suspension of said accounts.
