LICENSE AGREEMENT
You should read the following terms and conditions carefully before using this software. Your use of this software indicates your full acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.
It is a violation of this agreement to alter the executable delivered with this software in any way. To reverse engineer the software or to modify the software to avoid it's digital right management. Any changes to the file may result in a deactivation of any registration codes that have been purchased. Seeking support for such a file or distributing such a file will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
If you intend to use the Registered Version, please read the "LICENSE AGREEMENT - REGISTERED VERSION" section below.
If you intend to use the Demo Version, please read the "LICENSE AGREEMENT - DEMO VERSION" section below.
LICENSE AGREEMENT - REGISTERED VERSION
1. GRANTING OF LICENSE. NorbSoftDev, as Licenser, grants to you, the Licensee, a non-exclusive license to use this software program (hereinafter referred to as the "SOFTWARE") in accordance with the terms contained in this license.
You may use the SOFTWARE on a single computer. You may access the SOFTWARE through a network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the software to cover all workstations that will access the software through the network.
2. COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE, including but not limited to any images, texts, and sounds incorporated into the SOFTWARE, are owned by NorbSoftDev or its suppliers.
3. REDISTRIBUTION. You can freely distribute the SOFTWARE, provided that:
(a) you only distribute the original Install program of the SOFTWARE. (You can download the original Install program of the SOFTWARE from Matrix Games Web site, http://www.matrixgames.com.) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE ARE YOU LICENSED TO DISTRIBUTE ANY OTHER FILE OF THE SOFTWARE.
(b) you DO NOT charge, or ask for donations, for this.
(c) you DO NOT distribute it with any other product, commercial or not, without prior written permission.
4. GOVERNING LAW. If you acquired this product in the United States, this agreement is governed by the U.S. laws. If you acquired this product outside of the United States, then local law may apply.
5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY. THE SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. 6. The Licensee also agrees to read up on the Napoleonic War so that they sound like they have a clue when involved in a Multiplayer Campaign and on the SOW forums.
7. The Licensee also agrees to read up on the American Civil War so that they sound like they have a clue when involved in a Multiplayer Campaign and on the SOW forums.
OWNERSHIP:
All title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the Program and any and all copies thereof are owned by NorbSoftDev and/or it's licensors. The Program is protected by the copyright laws of the United States, international copyright treaties and conventions and other laws. The Program contains certain licensed materials and NorbSoftDev and/or its licensors may protect their rights in the event of any violation of this Agreement. You agree not to remove, disable or circumvent any proprietary notices or labels contained on or within the Program.
