Thanks for downloading the alpha version of Co OPERATION: MultiTurn (our “Game”). We hope you enjoy the experience. Before you play, please read this End User Licence Agreement (EULA) and agree to it. We felt it was necessary to write one of these things, mostly because the game supports modding and we want to be clear about what is and isn’t allowed.

Ownership
Co OPERATION: MultiTurn and all the content and files included with it (except where we use licensed content) is developed and owned by Mind Feast Games, a small indie studio based in the UK.
You agree that you will not distribute the Game because it is not shareware. But please do tell your friends about it and show them our official download pages.
If you have downloaded the game from one of our official download pages, you have permission to use it for your personal, non-commercial use but do not have any ownership rights of the Game.

Alpha
The Game is not finished and will receive updates and changes in the future.
We will do our best not to break the game experience for players or for modders with our updates but we are a small group of normal people and sometimes we might make mistakes.
You download, install and use the Game at your own risk. We are not liable for any damage that might be caused to you by downloading, installing and using our software.

Game Difficulty
We use a 3rd party service so that we can measure how easy or hard the content in the game is, and if we got the balance right or not.
We do this by measuring and recording things like how long it took players to complete a certain level, or if players completed a certain level at all and other play-through data.
We have no reason or intention to collect any kind of personal data.
This is a alpha version of the game. We’re doing our best to make it a really good game experience and players’ anonymised play-through data helps us to do that.

Permitted User Modifications and New Creations
Co OPERATION uses our MultiTurn framework and that means you can make your own content (“Mods”). You can use our Game to make Mods or create new content to be played in the Game. You agree that any new creations or materials that you make for the Game are subject to the following restrictions:

Your Mods must not contain modifications to any executable file(s).

Your Mods must not contain any harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive imagery or libelous, defamatory, or other illegal material, material that is scandalous or invades the rights of privacy or publicity of any third party.

If you make any content available on or through our Game, you agree to give us permission to use, copy, modify, adapt, distribute, and publicly display that content. This permission is irrevocable, and you also agree to let us permit other people to use, copy, modify, adapt, distribute, and publicly display your content. For example, we may see a user-made Mod that we really like and want to recommend or distribute it to our community of players. Of course, players can then make further modifications to the Mod you made. Please think carefully before you make any content available, because it may be made public and might even be used or modified by other people in a way you don't like.

Your Mods must not contain, or be used in conjunction with, any trademarks, copyright protected work, or other recognizable property of third parties without their written authority.

We have purposely given you access to Mod our original files, including 3d models and 2d decorations. You can, for example, import our 3d models into Blender, adjust them and then export your creation back into the game to make your Mod. Have fun doing that! But you cannot under any circumstances attempt to commercialise our original files or your modded creations of our original files.

Your Mods must not be used by you, or anyone else, for any commercial exploitation including, but not limited to in-game advertising, other advertising or marketing for any company, product or service.

Any user-made Mods will not be supported or updated by Mind Feast Games directly. Mod makers are responsible for updating and fixing their Mods.

Your Mods are a bundle of Lua files, YAML files, 2d art, 3d art and audio files which we call “Packages” in the Game and must be distributed for free. You are free to upload your Packages to our recommended sites or to a site of your choice and distribute them to other people who play the Game.

Neither you, nor any other person or party, may sell your Mods or Packages to anyone, commercially exploit them in any way, or charge anyone for receiving or using them without prior written consent from Mind Feast Games. You may exchange them at no charge among other end users and distribute them to others over the Internet, or otherwise for free.

Agreement
By playing the Game you are agreeing to the rules in this EULA.
