Licensing Agreement
This Licensing Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into by and between Lifelight Entertainment GmbH, a company duly organized and existing under the laws of Germany ("Licensor"), and the user ("Licensee"), collectively referred to as the "Parties".
1. Background
1.1. Licensor is the developer and publisher of the video game titled "Crackin' Smackin'" (the "Game"), available for purchase and download on the Steam platform.
1.2. Licensee desires to obtain a license to use the Game, subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
2. License Grant
2.1. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Licensor hereby grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Game solely for Licensee's personal entertainment purposes.
2.2. Licensee acknowledges that the Game may require access to and use of Licensee's Steam account, including Licensee's Steam ID, for the purpose of authentication and verification.
2.3. Licensee agrees that by downloading, installing, or using the Game, Licensee automatically agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
3. Restrictions
3.1. Licensee shall not sublicense, sell, distribute, lease, rent, or otherwise transfer or assign any rights granted under this Agreement to any third party without the prior written consent of Licensor.
3.2. Licensee shall not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Game, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
4. Ownership
4.1. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Game, including all intellectual property rights therein.
4.2. Licensee acknowledges that it does not acquire any ownership rights in the Game under this Agreement, except for the limited license expressly granted herein.
5. Data Collection and Privacy
5.1. Licensee acknowledges and agrees that Licensor may collect and store Licensee's Steam ID for the purpose of operating and providing access to the Game.
5.2. Licensor shall handle Licensee's Steam ID in accordance with its privacy policy, a copy of which is available on Licensor's website or within the Game.
6. Term and Termination
6.1. This Agreement shall commence on the date Licensee first accesses or uses the Game and shall continue until terminated as provided herein.
6.2. Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately upon written notice to Licensee if Licensee breaches any provision of this Agreement.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
7.2. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the video game "Crackin' Smackin'" (the "Game") developed by Lifelight Entertainment GmbH ("We", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data Collection and Use
We only collect and use your Steam ID for the purpose of authentication and providing access to the Game. We do not store any other personal data about you.
2. Legal Basis for Data Processing
The processing of your Steam ID is based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you grant by using the Game.
3. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Your Steam ID is stored on secure servers and used only for the purposes mentioned above.
4. Data Disclosure
We do not disclose your Steam ID to third parties unless required by law or as part of providing the Game, such as to Valve Corporation for authentication through the Steam platform.
5. Your Rights
Under the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to request information about the processing of your personal data, the right to rectify inaccurate data, the right to erasure of your data (under certain circumstances), the right to restrict processing, and the right to data portability.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend or update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post any changes on our website and notify you of any material changes.
