Language:
Users who interact with The RPG Engine (TRPGE) via any means agree to review and abide by this EULA as a binding contract struck between the user and the owner, PolyDemons.

LICENSE
The user has a limited, revocable license to use TRPGE for their personal use so long as they do not violate any articles listed herein. Any abuse of these terms may result in corrective actions, subject to review from Polydemons. Polydemons retains all applicable rights to TRPGE, its design, and coding. Users may not reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or reproduce any part of TRPGE without direct permission from PolyDemons. Should any part of this license be not applicable according to a user's local law, all other parts of the EULA not affected by that law are considered separate and enforceable.

PROGRAM
TRPGE is an "as-is" product. As applicable by law, PolyDemons is not responsible for any issues arising from the usage of TRPGE, any modifications installed by the user to TRPGE, or any assets downloaded from the workshop. The user is advised to use TRPGE and any associated modifications or additions to TRPGE at their own risk. Users should also expect frequent updates and additions made to TRPGE, which may change the fashion in which TRPGE works or make TRPGE incompatible with modifications or workshop assets. Certain aspects of TRPGE, notably playing with other users and access to the workshop, require an online connection to function. PolyDemons is not responsible for issues users have stemming from an unstable, intermittent, or absent access to online services. PolyDemons is not responsible for any interaction users have with other users of TRPGE, although PolyDemons retains the right to sanction or remove users who undertake abusive or illegal actions with TRPGE.

WORKSHOP
Users who access the Steam workshop to share content take on the legal, ethical, and moral responsibility for any content they upload. PolyDemons takes no responsibility for users who share illegal, trademarked, copyrighted, or registered works. PolyDemons does not guarantee non-infringement of any owner's works undertaken by any end user. Users may access the workshop with the express knowledge that they are willingly interacting with content that may not have been sanctioned, approved, or reviewed by PolyDemons. Any possible violations of this policy should be reported to PolyDemons either via Steam or the TRPGE discord. PolyDemons retains the right to remove from the workshop any works that appear to be in violation of these terms and sanction any users directly and knowingly involved in creating those violations. These actions may be taken without prior notice, depending on the severity of the infraction.

MONETARY GAIN
Users may use TRPGE for monetary gain so long as they are doing so by streaming to viewers (such as YouTube or Twitch) or via "pay for play" methods (such as a paid GM hosting a game) so long as they link TRPGE's Steam page and/or mention TRPGE during usage. Users may not use TRPGE for monetary gain if they are violating any individual's, TRPGE's, or any other company's rights. Users are expected to be very forthcoming in how they earn or charge any money through TRPGE, and to do so responsibly and legally without any "bait and switch" or "surprise charges".

TAXES, CHARGES, AND FEES
PolyDemons is not responsible for any local or governmental levies, fees, duties, or taxes incurred by the user for the use of TRPGE or Steam. Nor is PolyDemons responsible for any charges a user needs to gain internet access or obtain online content.

MODDING
Modifying TRPGE in any fashion is an at-your-own-risk action, as is installing or using any modification. Any tools or data made available to users for modification purposes are without guarantee and at-your-own-risk. Any modifications to TRPGE must adhere to the same EULA put forth here. Modifications can not put at risk any end user's privacy or safety. Nor can they contain any other malicious code designed to do anything unexpected or unstated in the modification's description. Modifications may not make TRPGE playable to any users who do not already own a licensed copy of the game. Users may not charge for modifications without prior authorization by PolyDemons.

DISPUTES
Users agree to informally resolve any issues encountered in TRPGE, whether it be directly related to the program, a workshop entry, or involving the actions of another user of TRPGE. In the case of other users, resolution should be between those users and TRGPE makes no guarantee of undertaking any action in that resolution. The TRPGE discord or steam forums are both viable accessways to opening dialogue with PolyDemons in order to correct any problems they have encountered. Polydemons will make every attempt to meet a mutually agreeable resolution within reason and will undertake to do so in a reasonable time frame, but results are not guaranteed. Should an agreement not be reached using this method, both parties agree to then use American Arbitration Association's online procedures.
