Shadows of Soldiers – Terms of Use
By playing Shadows of Soldiers, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable Steam rules.
1. Age Requirements
You must meet the minimum age requirements applicable in your country or region. Where required by law, minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Player Conduct
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, discriminatory behavior, intentionally disruptive gameplay, and abusive communication are prohibited.
Players who violate these rules may be warned, removed from matches, temporarily suspended, or permanently banned from Shadows of Soldiers online services.
3. Cheating and Unauthorized Software
Cheats, hacks, bots, trainers, scripts, unauthorized modifications, or third-party software used to gain an unfair advantage or interfere with normal gameplay are prohibited.
Attempting to bypass or interfere with anti-cheat systems, server-side validation, security systems, game data, or network communication is also prohibited.
Confirmed or reasonably determined cheating may result in immediate removal from a match, temporary suspension, or permanent banning without prior warning.
Attempts to evade a ban using another account may result in further enforcement.
4. Bugs, Glitches and Exploits
Players must not knowingly exploit bugs, glitches, map exploits, duplication methods, or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage, obtain unauthorized rewards, or disrupt other players.
We may remove statistics, progression, currency, items, rankings, or other benefits obtained through exploitation.
Players are encouraged to report exploits to the Shadows of Soldiers support team.
5. Game Security
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Game, its servers, APIs, databases, backend services, or security systems.
6. User-Generated Content
Any custom maps, assets, models, textures, audio, images, or other user-generated content uploaded or used through Shadows of Soldiers must either be your original work or content for which you have the necessary rights and permissions.
Copyrighted material copied, ripped, extracted, or otherwise taken from commercial games, movies, music, software, or other protected works may not be used without authorization.
You are responsible for the content you upload.
We reserve the right to remove or disable user-generated content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Purchases
Shadows of Soldiers may contain optional purchases such as virtual currency, cosmetic items, or other digital content.
Purchases made through Steam are also subject to Steam's payment and refund policies.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
8. Data and Privacy
Shadows of Soldiers may process gameplay, account, technical, security, moderation, anti-cheat, and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Game.
Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Game Availability and Changes
Game features, maps, weapons, balance, progression, online services, and other functionality may be modified, added, or removed as Shadows of Soldiers evolves.
Online services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other circumstances.
10. Changes and Enforcement
These Terms may be updated when necessary to reflect changes to the Game, its services, security systems, platform requirements, or applicable law.
Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
Violations of these Terms may result in warnings, match removal, temporary restrictions, account suspension, or permanent banning from Shadows of Soldiers online services.
