Bowmen End User Agreement

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
THIS VERSION OF THE BOWMEN END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT IS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT (THE “AGREEMENT”) BEFORE INSTALLING OR USING ANY OF ETHEREAL GEM’S PRODUCTS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOU MAY NOT INSTALL OR OTHERWISE ACCESS THIS GAME.
Thank you for your interest in Bowmen and Ethereal Gem games! Normally I am not one to tie you to a user agreement, but since we’ve decided to enact a few online features in Bowmen, we decided it was necessary to toss in a terms of use agreement. This agreement may be updated or changed without notification to you, and as such, you are required to check back to this agreement FREQUENTLY and adhere to its updated terms. Whether you do so or not does not relieve you of your obligation to this agreement, of which you are bound by playing this game.
Bowmen has online capabilities at launch, mostly in the form of a leaderboard and chat system. These leaderboards store the 1,000 highest scores attained in Bowmen for bragging rights and worldwide display. Because of these features, we have implemented two sets of terms:
Naming Policy and Chat
Gameplay Policy
Not adhering to any of these policies or terms will result in a revocation of your Bowmen account and access to the game.

Naming Policy and Chat
- Usernames established at the start of the game are displayed on the leaderboards next to the user’s achieved highest score. Since these names are publicly displayed, you may not use slang, unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, abusive, hateful, racist, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate usernames while playing Bowmen. Furthermore, you agree to not post the same in Global Chat, either of which can result in a permanent ban on your Bowmen account.
Gameplay Policy
- Your leaderboard scores and access to the game can be revoked if you attempt to hack, modify, bot, or use any sort of cheating methods to achieve a high score or player level that is beyond human limits.
Not adhering to any of these policies or terms will result in a revocation of your Bowmen account and access to the game.
