License Agreement
This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Oversight Games™.
This EULA agreement governs your acquisition and use of Civil: The Game™ directly from Oversight Games™ or indirectly through an Oversight Games™ authorized reseller or distributor (a "Reseller"). Please read this EULA agreement carefully before playing Civil: The Game™ or using separate software packages included within. If you don't want to or can't agree to these rules, then you must not buy, download, use, or play Civil: The Game™.
Civil: The Game™ (“the game”) includes, but is not limited to, the game client or included game server software (“the server software”), and includes Civil: The Game™ on all platforms.
License Grant
Oversight Games™ hereby grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the game on your devices in accordance with the terms of this EULA agreement. You are permitted to load the game on a computer under your control. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the minimum requirements of the game.

If you decide to develop tools, plug-ins, services, or mods, you agree that the foregoing tools, plugins, services, or mods are something original that you created that does not contain copyrightable code or content. Oversight Games™ has the final say on what constitutes a mod and what does not. Oversight Games™ does not stand legally accountable for content seen in servers that contain the above-mentioned tools, plug-ins, services, or mods.
If you use the server software to host a multiplayer game, Oversight Games™ grants you permission to monetize your server, as long as it is in compliance with the preceding terms. Monetization of your game server is not considered a commercial use of the game.
Intellectual Property and Ownerships
Oversight Games™ shall at all times retain ownership of the game as originally downloaded by you and all subsequent downloads of the game by you. Civil: The Game™ (and the copyright, and other intellectual property rights of whatever nature in the game) are and shall remain the property of Oversight Games™. Oversight Games™ reserves the right to grant licences to use the game to third parties.
You and Oversight Games™ acknowledge and agree that, in the event of a third party claim, that your possession or use of the game (for example, creating mods or add-ons) infringes any third party’s intellectual property rights, you will be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim of intellectual property infringement.
Termination
This EULA agreement is effective from the date you first play the game and shall continue until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the game.
It will also terminate immediately if you fail to comply with any term of this EULA agreement. Upon such termination, the licenses granted by this EULA agreement will immediately terminate and you agree to stop all access and use of the game.
Governing Law
This EULA agreement, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this EULA agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.
Limitation of Liability
When the game (including its updates) is obtained, Oversight Games™ can not promise the game will be fully functional or free of errors. You accept that Oversight Games™ may release updates that have bugs, errors, or issues that could interrupt the intended functionality of the game. You bear the risk to its quality and performance, and agree that Oversight Games™ will not be held responsible for any loss or damage the game may cause.

- Remove, alter, or obscure any notice of copyright or trademark of Oversight Games™.
- Use the game for any purpose that Oversight Games™ considers is a breach of this EULA agreement.

- Play the game
- Use the server software to play or host a multiplayer game on your legal network.
- Develop tools, plug-ins, services, or mods, as long as they do not seem official or approved by Oversight Games™ (for example, using the Oversight Games™ logo).
