Upon dying half of Shadow Fiend's souls (the amount lost on death) will be released as if you had cast Requiem of Souls with those souls. This cast doesn't put the spell on cooldown and will trigger if it is on cooldown. It is now a passive component of the ability.

- Bots will now scale their attack desire on non-heroes based on how dangerous they think the unit is.
- Bots will now harass hero-like units (ie. Spirit Bear) when laning.

The dungeon crawling role playing game, Legend of Grimrock, has just added Steam Workshop integration to their game along with a new dungeon editor. Owners of the game can now browse the Steam Workshop and easily find custom dungeons to add to their game. Testers in a Public Beta have already created over 150 mods that can be downloaded via the Grimrock Workshop.

For users that would like to try their hand at creating their own dungeons, the developers have put together a wiki here with tutorials and resources.

After many feasts following many raids, Skølldir The Terrible Space Viking's nickname was altered to Skølldir The Terribly Overweight Space Viking. Nothing could scorn the brute more than this honorless title! Anyone who would dare to call him fat is met with a rapid series of crushing punches and is thrown aside.

- Earthquake- Buttstamp the ground to start an eartquake which damages enemies in front of you in a line.

General fixes: Major fixes
- The ranking system has received a major overhaul:
- Your increase or decrease in rank after a match is now scaled by how long you’ve been a part of the match. If you join a match that has already been in progress for a long time, your change in rank will be relatively small.
- When calculating your new rank at the end of a match, the skill of all players that have ever participated in that match will be taken into account. Previously, the skill of people that have left before the end of a match were not a part of the calculation.
- The penalty for leaving a match is now equal to a loss of that match. Even if you unplug your PC and / or network cable, the leave penalty will still be applied. The loss in rank will not be scaled by how long you’ve been a part of the match, so it will always be preferable to play until the (bitter) end.
- Split screen players used to count as if they had the same skill as bots, but now they will count as having the same skill as the main player. This fixes the major leaps in rank that split-screen players used to get.
- Because of all these big changes, the leaderboard and rankings of all players will be reset. Games played, win percentage and other leaderboard stats will not be reset.
- With all these changes there comes the risk of introducing new bugs into the ranking system, even though we have tested the new system extensively. If any major bugs are found we may reset the leaderboard again in a future patch.


General Fixes: Minor fixes
- Added extra platform near the base on AI Station 404, placed same platforms in Ribbit IV
- Improved crit chance calculation for various skills. Limiting the chance of multiple crits in a row and long streaks of non-crits.
- Fixed hiding of certain skills by shortly tapping the teleport to base button.
- On accepting a game invite the invitee will be placed in the team of the player that sent the invite if there is a free slot in that team.

-Fixed a long standing bug where you could lose mouse input when you got to the team select screen.
-Fixed a bug where the color correction during freeze time did not account for the players also being invulnerable during the new warmup - this fixed the CC gap at the start.
-Fixed some bugs relating to the warmup notification not reliably showing for late joiners.
-The chat now displays when the warmup has ended, just like when it is in progress.

Product Update - Valve
Today sees patch #4 available on Steam for PC versions of F1 2012.
This update addresses a number of issues, including:

• Understeer: Adjusted track information to provide a more uniform level of grip across the entire surface

• Fixed an issue where some users (especially those on laptops) were unable to change their resolution.

• Fixed a crash in Co-op when trying to resume a session at the start of a Qualifying session that neither player would take part in.

• Fixed issues with the weather system in Instant Replays / Race Replays which could instantly change the track wetness level.

• Removed engine damage from the list of damaged parts that can force a pit stop to take priority over a drive through penalty.

• Changed the Prime tyre compound to Hard for Suzuka to match the race this weekend. This change will not affect Time Attack which will continue to use the Medium compound tyre.

• Added a white cross to the DRS OSD to indicate to that it is unavailable because of a fault.

• Fixed a number of minor graphical issues.

• Fixed a couple of minor issues with timers not resetting correctly.

Other changes of note:

• Added a Skip Session option so players can leave any session without having to complete it.

• Tweaked force feedback for all devices.

• Improved the lighting on Singapore.

Known issue:
Saves not synchronising with the Steam cloud. If you are experiencing issues with saves uploaded to Steam’s cloud, we recommend using saved games stored on your local drive/PC.

AUTOMATONS [G2G vote]
- Added the Automatons faction with a specific gameplay affinity and properties for specific buildings, according to Panzer, the winner of the faction contest.
- Automatons Affinity:
1. At the end of the turn, if there is an overproduction, it's stacked instead of being reported.
2. At the beginning of a turn, an interest is applied to the stacked industry, allowing it to increase a bit.
3. The stacked industry is capped at 5 * system's industry.
4. If the overproduction cannot be stacked, it's conserved for the next turn like the current mechanism.
5. When the automatons build improvements & ships, the industry is used in the following order:
a. system's industry
b. overproduction
c. stacked industry
6. When a system from the Automatons is invaded, the stacked industry is destroyed, reset to 0 even if the invader is an Automaton.
- Added Automatons unique tech icons.
- Added a gauge bar for the stacked industry of each system in the Empire view.
- Added the stacked industry value on tooltip of each system in the Galaxy view.
- Placed the Automatons' overproduction stack in the Development bar (in System view).
- Added the Automatons' portrait, diplomacy hologram and loading screen. Automatons will use Cravers' ships 3D models.

TRADE ROUTES [G2G vote]

AI

- Changed the formula for trading a technology with the AI. Before, the price was related to the most wanted technology, now, it is related to the most expensive technology available.

HEROES & ACADEMY
- Added arrows to switch from a hero to another in the Inspection view.

- When recruiting a hero, he is now automatically selected in the active tab.
- Added an "Accept" button when assigning new abilities to a hero and the possibility to click on a selected ability to remove it before validating the final choice.

- Added a tooltip to heroes' attributes to show what effect they have.
- Added a visual hero identifier in the Academy, to determine if a hero is in a system, a fleet or unassigned.

ALLIANCE & DIPLOMACY [G2G vote]
- Updated the alliance management system.
- When offering a treaty with someone outside of an alliance, a request is sent to allies. They can now either:
1. Accept the treaty
2. Decide to leave the alliance.
- Added a tendency panel for diplomatic negotiations. Shows how an ally AI will likely respond to a treaty you offer to someone outside the alliance. Human players will always respond "Undecided".

BALANCING
- Changed the upkeep formula (cost 1 per CP --> cost 0.4*CP max per CP).
- Reduced the deflectors' evolution in stats, they were too efficient in late game: (3,5,8,11,14,20,25,30,36,45 => 2,4,7,10,13,17,22,27,33,39)
- Increased the hulls' HP to increase the probability to reach the melee phase: (small:300, medium:600,large:1200 => small:450, medium:1200, large:3000)
- Increased the cost of tonnage and repair modules' industry cost as well as modules related to strategic resources (to reward abundance).
- Reduced the Hissho's Bushido (20% on FIDS => 15% on FID).
- Increased the length of the Bushido but without the reset after an invasion (15 turns WITH reset => 45 turns WITHOUT reset after an invasion).
- Changed the Revenge trait's condition of activation (activated whenever a lost system was re-invaded by the player => will only activate during invasion if the lost system was previously owned at 100%).
- Changed the length of the different Cooperation Agreement steps (0/15/30 => 0/10/15).
- Reduced the AI bonus on weapons, defense and buyout to balance the difficulty. AI has been heavily improved and therefore needs less powerful bonuses.
- Balanced armor and repair module regarding the new HP's of the ships.

- Fixed an issue where trying to display the “end of auto explore” alert message after destroying the corresponding fleet provoked a NullReferenceException.
